I don't think SJ will get eliminated since 2 guys like her. If it's about "saving my girl" then the one most likely will get voted out is SY or HJ if they find her really suspicious. It's the same for the opposite, "protect my man". If SJ plays it right, she won't vote for either YH and SB (although I want SB out). TE and SY won't vote for SR. But we don't know what if 2 people get the same amount of votes or will the staff change the result.

Before blaming it on Mei Li, know that she's a Mongolian. Mongolians have different etiquette from Qing. In Mongolia, women are equal to men. Women can go hunt, practice martial arts and swordsmanship, go to war. No such thing as "rank and status". While in Qing, the noble ladies must learn manner and be mindful of do's and don'ts. They mostly chat and have tea, catch butterflies, play shuttlecock, admire flowers. Mei Li is not used to this. First, she just wanted to visit her father and cousin, meet new people and make new friends. After the cold palace incident, she just wanted to live a quiet and peaceful life.

Not only that, as soon as she arrives at the capital, every woman in the palace feels jealous of her bcs she gains the favor of IG. Consort Jing, and Su Ying with her family continuously try to harm her. She never actually does anything wrong. Mei Li doesn't deserve all these abuse just bcs she is lively and loved by the IG and Jing Xuan. Her life is miserable until the end and the man who should have protected her, doesn't trust her. She could have been happy if she returns to Mongolia at first chance, or if she marries Yong He.

People around her harm her, not just the evil ones, but also the good ones, even the IG. She should've let Mei Li go at first chance, but she begs her in the name of love to prevent her from leaving. She realizes she is the one who harmed Mei Li very late in the drama.

I love Seoyeon! My evil thoughts want her to have fun with Igeon, but then rejects him at the end 😂 This man can't keep his promises. Seoyeon and Lana deserve better.

The partnership between Kangrae and Seoah in day 2 left deep impression in their hearts. I don't know why Seoah didn't feel the fluttering heart with Dohyun even though he did every romantic stuff. While Kangrae is being a solo dude during their date 😂 Like they said, Kangrae need a girl like Seoyeon who is proactive. But perhaps Seoah is a better choice for Kangrae's first gf/love?

Staying true to the title, this drama is about those who are desperately in love. Be warned: this is a drama with a lot of despair, abuse, scheming and tears.

Mei Li is a bright, naive, free spirited, and lively Mongolian princess who comes to the capital to see her father. Her father works at the palace as guard and was given the status of Duke Qian. The Imperial Grandmother (IG) takes a liking on Mei Li and grants her the status of Ge Ge. She meets Jing Xuan and they fall in love in an instant. Jing Xuan is Prince Qing, the brother of the emperor. She also meets Yong He who loves her, Sang Zhu, Jing Xuan's cousin who likes Yong He, and Su Ying, the woman who loves Jing Xuan.

Soon after she arrives at the capital, her father is killed in mission. Due to evil scheming by a jealous consort, she accidentally causes the death of her friend, and is punished to live in cold palace. After a year, she regains her status and plans to return to Mongol, but she decides to stay for IG, and tries to live a quiet life, away from people.

Mei Li tries to let go of Jing Xuan and accepts Yong He. However, Jing Xuan's obsession only gets bigger even though he is engaged to Su Ying. Jing Xuan threatens the emperor so he can marry Mei Li. Mei Li runs away to avoid this. Meanwhile the villain uses this chance to kill Mei Li. Yong He saves her, but get caught by Jing Xuan. Under Jing Xuan's threat, she has no choice but to marry him.

Mei Li's life in hell starts. Jing Xuan becomes this obsessive, jealous, doubtful, and angry man. He accuses Mei Li isn't a virgin and that she still loves Yong He. While Su Ying and Jing Xuan's mother beat and bully her. Jing Xuan's doubt to Mei Li gives the villain chances to stir things up. This leads to a greater tragedy.

People speculated the reason ep 4 didn't air last week was bcs TE and SR kept giving hints 😅

So true! The participants are not in relationship so they are free to pursue anyone they like. However I don't like when someone tries to interrupt or jump into two people when they are having conversations. Nothing wrong with SY pursuing SR, but she deliberately sits there to interrupt them only make her look like a bad person and make the atmosphere awkward. If she wants to create a chance, she should look for him when he is alone.

Also, when SY said "I never failed" I was shocked. Does that mean she is always like this, pursuing a man who likes another girl and succeeded in getting the man? Or she has never been rejected by a man so she full confidence? TH warned her though.
