The whole scene in Bu's residence is so satisfying. intense. I could feel the rage, hatred and grudge in her eyes and cold tone as she speaks. Those blood sucking snakes deserve million deaths!
And those slaps to the spoiled toddler is so satisfying too.
Poor Yinlou always being bullied since she was a kid and she couldn't defend herself and now they still try to trample on her, don't even care about her status or the fact the emperor is her backing.

My goodness! I hate the censorship!!!! They cut ALL THE ROMANTIC SCENES in this drama! ALL the skinship and intimate scenes are gone!! How could they do this to the main couple and us??? This is a romance drama! How can we immerse into their love if we don't even get a proper scene to show their feelings are blossoming? Are they going to do this until the end??

Ouch sorry if you accidentally read some spoiler 😭 Well Yinlou isn't just a tragic tribute lady who is saved by Xiao Duo and certainly not just an illegitimate daughter.

Based on the opening clip and trailers:
-the wedding between Yinlou and the emperor will happen and Xiao Duo tries to stop it
-Yinlou's mother will pass away later
-there is a scene where Yinlou pointing a knife to a man while both are kneeling. This man is most likely Yuwen Liangshi since he is the only man with that hairstyle.
-Yinge will coax the emperor and most likely succeed. That shooting arrow scene aiming at Yinlou...

After reading @EclecticJello's explanation, I'm curious about how they will reveal Yinlou's identity, and how it will affect the good side and bad side characters. Will that man join Xiao Duo? 🤔

The similarity between our 3 pairings: the guys fell first and they are chasing the girls. It is refreshing as usually it's the girls who cling to the guys.

However I must say the second cp: Tong Yun and Cao Chun'ang is not believable. How and why did he fall in love? When they were drunk. What did she do that make him like her? Nothing. Has he done something to show he has fallen for her? Nothing. He doesn't even shoot love beams from his eyes when she is on his sight. Both are merely getting along bcs of their masters, nothing more or less.

My goodness!!! Perfect explanation!! Now I get it! She is a royal descendant, related to Prince Nanyuan. Her so called father took her in then sold her off to seal the truth. However the emperor and Xiao Duo knew about this. One wants to benefit from it, one wants to protect her. It might be the reason why Empress Rong'an wants to kill her too later on. Yinlou befriending Liangxu will help her to find out the truth. Gosh the mystery is really good in this drama! It seems like there is nothing special, we get distracted with the romance and comedy troupe, but they actually have been throwing some hints! You are amazing! Thank you so much for this!

His name is Yuwen Liangshi, his little brother is Yuwen Liangxu. His posthumous name is Prince Nanyuan. If you watch the trailer, he is most likely the man with beard.

Yinlou was the lady in waiting for the previous emperor, but he never visited her. She is saved by Xiao Duo and to protect her, she is given the status of consort dowager Duan.

He will be evil bcs he tries to separate Xiao Duo and Yinlou, forces her to be his wife. His obsession to Yinlou will get bigger and severe.

It's just a matter of taste. Personally I really love her. I watch all her dramas from Ashes of Love until Unchained Love (a total of 9 dramas). Few of them have really bad scripts such as And The Winner is Love and Mirror A Tale of Twin Cities. While in The Love Lasts Two Minds, her male co-star is basically a walking wood and has no chemistry with her. What's good about her is she always tries a new type of character so it's never boring to see her.

Apparently this drama has more people on the bad side than the good side. The three couples and Qilang are obviously on the good side. That's it? While on the bad side: the emperor, Empress Rong'an, Bu family, Yuwen Liangshi. Those with power are on the bad side 🙄 it really depends on Xiao Duo and Yinlou's strategy to win.

What Yinlou did in ep 10 shows fact. "She was lively and innocent. Once she enters the palace, she is no longer herself." The palace changes a person's innocence. Yinlou is loved for her personality, but she will lose it once she enters the harem. This is why she longs for freedom. She wants to be her own master.

Yinlou also said another wise words. "Those lowly concubines, what were they like when they were alive. These days, is there anyone who remembers them?" This drama is paying some tribute to those women 👏
