I'd like to recommend Memory of Encaustic Tiles (modern youth drama with Lin Yi). When I first saw Bu Yinlou, I immediately thought her character is similar to hers in Encaustic Tiles. Bu Yinlou is a mixture of Shao Xue (Encaustic Tiles) with Zhao Min (HSDSS).

And The Winner is Love doesn't have good story. The misunderstanding lasts for almost 20 eps!

Rather than And The Winner is Love, The Love Lasts Two Minds (with Yu Menglong) has better story. Here, Chen Yuqi played 3 different characters! Each has different personalities. The only downside is Yu Menglong's robotic acting so they have no chemistry.

A lot of romance, fluffy and sweet yet very comical too. There is love triangle, the FL is loved by ML and SML (the king). SFL is obsessed with ML.

I've been thinking. in the novel, the bath scene is supposed to be to detoxify the poison, and Xiao Duo helps putting her into the tub and out of the tub. But in the drama they changed it to usual bath after the medicine investigation 🤔 then how did he come to her room in the first place? What was the reason? He should know she was in bath. gosh this is torturing 😭

How was the reaction of cnetz when they saw the newest leaked bath scene? Furious? I'm so angry I want to cry 😭😭😭

We all are curious 😭😭😭 especially how did they start talking about him being fake eunuch. Can they release the whole deleted scenes into 1 episode or at least the complete bath scene? The whole Didi fandoms, Yuqi fandoms, and UL nations are begging 😭

In Unchained Love Chen Yuqi uses her own voice 😍 I'm very pleased when I first heard it. The last time I heard her voice was in Memory of Encaustic Tiles which used on set voice instead of dubbing. Sometimes the production staff will decide whether they should use the actor's real voice or not. Bcs sometimes the actor's real voice doesn't match the character.

As far as I know only Wang Hedi is dubbed by a dubbing actor.

If Yuwen Liangshi joins Xiao Duo in the good side he is most likely be the next king. The king doesn't have to be from Murong clan bcs Yuwen clan is also able to take over the throne.

It's really good, but it depends on your taste. This drama has a lot of comedy aspects and the romance is really romantic. The mystery keeps us guessing what actually happened or what will happen. The flow is really unexpected. Also, the ML and FL support and protect each other. He is cold, meticulous, scheming, but adorable, she is bold, fearless, smart, certainly a rare kind of FL. The cinematography is beautiful, but there are a lot of scenes got deleted due to censorship 😭

Pardon me, but slow burn means slowly getting angry 😥
The romance starts fast, at ep 5 if I'm not mistaken. He falls first and she notices it. So she enjoys teasing him 😆

I noticed one thing. In ep 25, Yinlou is wearing a gold necklace, presumably gifted by King Fu. Then at the boat scene she is still wearing the necklace and Xiao Duo throws it. In ep 26, Rong'an finds the necklace and returns it to King Fu. I assume it as: Liancheng doesn't die as Yinlou calls the Zhaoding men to save him. Then Xiao Duo kidnaps her to the boat. It's just cruel to have romantic scene right after her cousin died 🤔 well it's not wrong to have hope, right?

For next episode: that disgusting emperor uses Yinlou's hands to stab her cousin!?? And he expects after this she will love him??? What kind of logic is that??? He kills her cousin, how can she then falls in love with him??? He is having a god-tier delusion.
I hope she remembers people from Zhaoding are protecting her. So if Liancheng is still breathing, she must order those men to help him 🙏🙏🙏

They can't use forbidden as the title bcs it is really a forbidden love between an eunuch with a consort. It's not good. So they changed it into unchained. Both Xiao Duo and Yinlou are chained for different reasons. He is chained into hatred and revenge. She is chained into following what people tell her to do. They can't be free and live like human. However once they found each other, they are able to break free from this chain. Xiao Duo finds a reason to live, become a human and feels warmth. Yinlou finds someone who truly loves her, not forcing her to do things she hates, and gives her freedom. However their love can't be known by others. In the end, their secret love will be free from this chain too.

They cut the whole revelation scenes. In the novel, Xiao Duo tells her he is a fake one after the bath scene. This bath scene happens after she gets poisoned. The next day, they lay down on her bed and he tells her. It's so steamy and explicit bcs they don't stop there 😂
Somehow I think they switched the order in the drama. My assumption: before the poisoning, Yinlou investigates his medicine. She suspects he is a man. So she tries to undress him at night and runs away bcs she is shy. Then the poisoning happens. After she wakes up, Xiao Duo helps her take a bath. That's where he tells her. It makes more sense this way.
