If you watch the trailer, it is shown that Prince Nanyuan and Mr. Bu march into the palace with an entire army. They join hands! With Rong'an they have been plotting for the throne. Remember Mr. Bu has been wanting to kill Yinlou. The scene where Mr. Bu and Rong'an insisted the emperor to execute Yinlou was so obvious they work together.
I have been having this odd feeling about Sun Taiqing. He seems doesn't want Xiao Duo to die. I forgot since when, but the most memorable one was during the kidnapping. The emperor wanted to kill Xiao Duo, but eunuch Sun kept reminding him to NOT to be impulsive and kill Xiao Duo. Then after the fox demon issue, he asked what would the emperor do if Xiao Duo fails. He was shocked when the emperor said "Then he should die". Could it be eunuch Sun knows about Xiao Duo's identity? That's why he doesn't want him to die? He also doesn't want Xiao Duo to collude with Prince Nanyuan. He knows something our leads don't.
Phew like some of us expected, it was Mr. Bu. Also it's obvious he still wants Yinlou died. He kept insisting the emperor to execute Yinlou. I really can't wait for Bu family to perish! Once again, Yinlou is a smart queen. She takes action while Xiao Duo is still in shock.

Not only that one. But there is another scene that happens in the same room where Yinlou sits on a flower swing. Also a scene where they take a walk outside holding hands 🤔
I'm guessing for the plot: -Xiao Duo most likely switched the poison to fool Rong'an. Then he sneaked Yinlou out of palace or go back to her residence and it turns out they were acting in front of Rong'an. -Rong'an dies (please!) -for the "melon" episodes, perhaps the emperor finds out about Xiao Duo and Yinlou. -The emperor threatens her, then forces her to a marriage while Xiao Duo in prison. -Xiao Duo is rescued by his men with the help of Wanwan and Liangxu. -Liangxu most likely cooperates with Xiao Duo to rescue Yinlou from the wedding (there is a still cut of him defeating guards).
I found one surprising thing. Prince Nanyuan is colluding with Mr. Bu!? There is a cutscene where they march with an entire army. Isn't Mr. Bu disabled? How can he fight? 🤔 I also remember during their first weibo livestream, Zeng Li said Rong'an had an affair. With who? 🤔

There are a few reasons: 1. Bcs it tells the story of an eunuch (fake one) and a concubine (by name). 2. Sabotage by people who are scared of Wang Hedi's exploding popularity. 3. Bcs it's historical drama.

They had their first night! They cut the whole scene including the forced kiss when she bit his lips and the real kiss after she gives in. And in their second boat night, they have a sweet kiss again which got cut, again...

Indeed! Peter Ho is really amazing portraying King Fu! omg he creeps me out. Everytime he speaks, I feel I'm gasping for oxygen, having cold sweat. I can't read what is he going to do next. I really want to grab Yinlou and run away.
I never dislike Tong Yun no matter how useless and nosy she is, however if she dares to betray Yinlou for her own life... But I don't think the poison is real though. Xiao Duo might have switched it, but Yinlou drinks it instead. Oh for ep 28 could it be Rong'an really dies?? Please, less one enemy!
Another day, another dozen of cuts 😑 at least forced kiss, real kiss, make out scene, sweet kiss got deleted. Perhaps the second make out scene got deleted too since the editing is hilarious. I strongly believe they will delete the make out scene in her bed in the upcoming episode 😴
My hands were shaking during "that" scene. The emperor is psychopath, stalker, obsessed, scariest man of all! And he actually had the hope Yinlou would remember him from years ago when all he did was STALKING her??? I could see how Yinlou is trembling in fear everytime he is near her. His every word and presence could kill the air! But thank God for Lian Cheng 😭😭😭
And thank you to Wanwan who still side with Yinlou. I thought she would be busy yapping and pointing fingers at Yinlou. Glad she understands.
