First, I also hate the stupid, whiny, clingy, useless, stalker type of FL. but Yetan is completely different. She is rebellious being bullied for 18 years, mischievous, fearless, straightforward, smart, cunning. She uses her brain to solve the puzzle/things. She can defend herself. She loves her sister the most and willing to do anything to make her happy. She seems like a whiny and noisy, but she's pretending. The strict heavenly realm is not for her who is rebellious, that's why she tries her best to escape and save her sister. The more you watch the more you will love her bcs of the painful past she has been through and yet she grew up as a caring person who isn't evil.

In the intro of eps 1 it has been explained. The legend says the tree in Dongqiu absorbed the power of Chaos and twin flowers bloomed from it. The people in Dongqiu tribe worshipped it as holy tree and didn't believe the legend. The emperors destroyed the tree, but the essence of the flowers traveled all the way and found vessels inside the belly of a mortal woman. Thus the twins were born. Since the flowers absorbed purity and impurity when it was still on the tree, the twins have the same power. Qingkui can absorb the life power of holy (immortals), while Yetan can absorb the life power of darkness (voidwalkers). Combining their powers together will open the Guixu.
All the twins want is to live in peace with their husbands. Work, earn money, play, cook, have kids. They will never have the thoughts of opening the Guixu or hurt other people. That bastard really erase Youqin's memory! My prediction was right. Bcs Youqin falls unconscious after Qingkui died, that jerk brings Youqin back and erases his memory. Idk how Yetan would feel being left without words. Chao Feng is also being brought back by his father and put in prison. So Yetan comes with new companions: void consort, Haichao and Sushui to rescue Chao Feng and kill the others.

It is also Husui who tells Qingkui the way to remove the flower power is for the twins to be separated in life and death. THIS is the reason why Qingkui chooses to die!!!!!! Bcs she dies, those evil emperors decide to let Yetan live.

I'm still reading the novel. This novel is really big, 300+ chapters! I jumped to where they find out the brides were switched. Basically it's the same. Both couples reunite and live in the same house, trying to make money. Youqin and Chao Feng are injured, but Youqin becomes weak. There is also a huge villain lurking around, and a shocking truth about the heavenly emperor and his past. Also the big villain tells one shocking fact to Yetan. I think they will cut the emperor's story though. The novel has too many trivial stories.
