I really like the lady in waiting, Stewardess Yu, by Haishi. She's resourceful, resilient and listens to her commands.…
Bihong can't hear it. She's in the underworld fixing her ears 🤣 ah the typical "bump into the wall" suicide is always comical. Also the effectiveness of poison or sleeping drug. You drink it then 1 second later you passed out. That quick! Ancient drugs were scary!
I'm annoyed, and I'm not sure I understand why I'm annoyed. I skipped every part about feeble Tilan. She's no…
The writer created her to humanize the emperor. This ignorant, selfish emperor didn't care about the feelings of people around him. He only took things as: interesting or boring. But Tilan's kindness made him realize that what he did all this time was a mistake. That the painful past is in the past and he needs to move on and stops being a jerk. The emperor we're seeing now is different from he used to be. He became rational and reasonable, unlike Jianming who won't bother to explain anything. If Tilan wasn't there in the picture, we will see the jerk emperor who tries to steal Haishi and we won't see the beautiful brotherhood between him and Jianming.
Every time I see ministers in dramas, I want to force them to swallow rats. They always complain, accuse, blame others. Either their brain is corrupted or their heart is corrupted. Did they become ministers by money, family name and connections? 🤦♀️ they were part of the reasons why dynasties collapsed.
I appreciate the character development of the emperor. He didn't keep the girls in the dark. He explained everything to them to avoid misunderstanding. He is a good emperor who cares for his country and the people, but he was ignorant, selfish and didn't care about feelings and how he was hurting people. Like he said, since he lost Zizan, he became a walking corpse, no heart. Tilan made him human again. Now he became a reasonable, caring and affectionate man 👍🏻
While Jianming was a wall with no door. Haishi keeps swinging her hammer, axe, and other weapons she has to break down this wall. The wall has collapsed, but it creates an illusion as if it's still stand tall. May Haishi be able to break this illusion too 🙏
I think FJM knows very well how to break the baixi bond..He had some scripture too where he cut his hand, poured…
I think she's trying to help finding out clues to break the bond. She knew that it can be done if both parties want to break it. So once she finds out how, she will tell both men 👍🏻
First of all how royal and regal HS looked while entering the court..Even FJM couldn’t takes his eyes off her..Also…
I still don't understand the very reason the emperor demanded pearls. In the end the pearls are just stuck in the cabinets.
And yes that maid must be sent by Jichang. Too coincidence.
Tilan is too good for this world. How come she thinks of the sufferings she has been going through as "fate"? Since her childhood she didn't have a good life, she went through a lot of abuses and she is never angry or hold grudges. She just accepts everything. A normal person, i.e Haishi, would take revenge or perhaps run away. I don't know if she's too naive or too forgiving 🤷♀️

Yes Zhuoying doesn't know. Perhaps he thought that Zheliu committed suicide after she received the edict 😥 bcs the edict is on the table.
