Of course Haishi doesn't think of Youdu as the opposite sex. Youdu is her buddy, less than a brother. Even if she gives up on Jianming, Youdu won't be the one. Youdu is a great guy, but too good. People shipping Youdu with Haishi bcs they are angry with Jianming. When a man turns a cold shoulder to a woman and abuse her emotionally, we'd rather have a man who treats her wholeheartedly to snatch her away. So it's not about chemistry. It happened in other dramas too.

Wow! 🤣 bcs what I know from watching historical cdrama is a woman with coldness must warm themselves. They can't have babies if their body is cold. Tilan still has coldness so how did she get pregnant? The writer really missed this bcs in the novel it's Haishi.

I didn't cry too bcs it's obvious it's just a dream which meant to never happen. If this has happy ending then in the end they might really get married, but not now, not by sneaking behind everyone. Like how are they gonna explain to everyone that they are in love and just married?

Jianming doesn't want Haishi to fall into Jichang' hand bcs he found out her gender. So he rushed to reveal her gender himself and threw her to the emperor. Of course he won't proceed with their marriage for real bcs now he is dying. So in his greatest mind, he'd rather give her to the emperor rather than staying with a sick man. If he dies, no one can protect Haishi, but if she's with the emperor, the emperor can protect her even after he died.

In Journey of Flower, the heroine is love by 3 other guys other than male lead. In The Love Lasts Two Minds, the girl has 2 identities and is loved by 2 men, while the male lead also loved by other women. So it's love square. The couple has master-servant relationship and comradeship before she claims her identity. The male lead is the same type with Jianming.

I forgot. You can try Singing All Along. The couple is faithful to each other from the start and she will be the empress. It's love square too, but they don't give a damn to them. It's torturing bcs it's based on history.

Really appreciate the emperor didn't leave Haishi in the dark, how he swiftly reacted to protect Haishi, how he scolded Jianming for his rush decision. Jianming is so selfish. He has everyone dancing in his palm, using them as his pawns, including the emperor.

Jianming and Bai Zihua are the same type: me and my grand plan. They both control and restrain the women they love with the so called big plan to protect them. While the women try to save the men from dying. At least Jianming trusts Haishi and confessed his love, and Haishi will stay alive in the end.

That secret wedding with no witness, how are they gonna face the next day? Tell everyone "Hey people we got married!" And people be like "E?" That's absurd 🤷‍♀️ people won't let them get away even if there's no poison incident.

Btw did Tilan give the emperor the blackmail proof? He only said he will investigate it, but it's not clear. Also there isn't any medical progress on her condition. Suddenly she got pregnant. Either they got the cure really quick or the physician who was dumb 🤷‍♀️

Do you like this kind of dark and torturing drama? 😭 well I recommend The Journey of Flower (very torturing), or sweeter drama like Love and Destiny, The Love Lasts Two Minds (the main actor is very awful playing his character, but all the female cast and the story made this drama great. I think you must have watched TMOPB so I won't mention it again. DO NOT watch Rebirth For You, it's a total crap.

If she's a scheming woman whose eyeing on the throne, I don't think they will give couple posters. It would be: the main couple, love triangle, the scheming woman/man, second couple, or one poster consists everyone. Stalking on cdrama posters, that's what I noticed. Her story has yet to be revealed. But after her maid poisoned the emperor, I think their relationship will be shaken. It will depend on what she will do later. Bcs at this point they haven't reached the level of "love", but "fixing mistakes".

That maid always and only brings trouble to Tilan. As if she's leading Tilan to her doom. Her loose mouth will come to an end next ep.

This is a rare case where we want it to be different from the novel 😂

I also hate Jianming always stalk her. He said all those harsh words, gave her cold shoulder, scolded her every time, but protects her from behind. Girls don't need stalker. It's creepy 😑

Since Haishi was in Lanzi to help Jiaman people, it was obvious general Fu is the mole. He has been acting weird and trying to get info here and there. General Tang's problem is he loves Tilan. For now I think he's not the bad guy.

Kinda surprised too that Zheliu appeared this fast! But seeing trailer for ep 40 seems like she will reunite with Zhuoying 🙏

I don't read the novel but I know Jianming isn't that cruel to kill a little girl. Besides YingLiu cp has more story to come, no way it ends here 😥

If you like historical drama, I recommend: Singing All Along (by Ruby Lin, the girl is really smart and she helps her husband to glory), Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms (by Yang Mi, it's very romantic), Love and Destiny (by Nini, the same setting with ten miles, but different characters), Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Saber 2019 (not really a romance drama, but it's a complete package with dozens of beauties), The Love Lasts Two Minds (I hate the male lead, but it's worth watching bcs the girls cast hard carried this drama and it's only 36 eps), The Romance of Tiger and Rose (I don't watch it, but it's a lighthearted romance), The Long Ballad (by Dilraba, a heroine centered drama with non toxic male lead), My Fair Princess/Princess Huan Zhu (watch the 1998 and 1999 ver. It's old but a must watch). I don't watch that many dramas so I can only give a few examples. You can try look for them first before deciding which one to watch 🤗

Well... bcs it's Zhao Liying's drama, my fav actress. This drama was a billion hit too. It was painful and tear jerking 😭 which is why I was shocked NPE has similar plot. Hopefully it doesn't have the same ending.

If you watched the trailers she will live with Zhuoying in Huku. Jianming saved her life by faking her death. It's too dangerous for her to be there.
