On Wonderland of Love May 20, 2025
I decided to watch this bcos of the high rating and quite good reviews below. However after 22 episodes, I just can't like it.
1. The FL keeps deceiving, tricking and lying to ML until some point.
2. The ML is so dumb and willing to disregard everything if it concerns about FL as if he throws away his brain.
3. Here we go again with the obsessive delusional denial SML plot.
4. This is not about a married couple and their marriage life. It is about 2 people from opposite armies meet and fall in love during war. Yet they still have time for romance despite being in critical situations. Hello???? Don't you have duties??? ML surely loves wasting his time to sneak out to meet FL.

Where do you think is good to stop? I want to watch the drama but I don't want to ruin my experience thanks to…
Actually you can still watch it until the last episode. You can stop on the scene where they are watching snow together OR where they have dinner together with the whole gang. Although the dinner will leave a bad taste due to how gloomy the atmosphere is... Personally I will stop at the snow scene.

I think it is still being reviewed. Once it passes, they will post it.

No. This is actually the prequel. Fox Spirit Matchmaker is a trilogy:1. Love in Pavilion2. Sword and Beloved3.…
Yes Red Moon Pact is a mess. However it concludes the story of Fox Spirit Matchmaker. If you happen to be curious, you can just watch the last 3-4 eps of RMP after watching LIP.

It's sad that LIP couldn't even break 9000. I understand most viewers already know the ending so they are reluctant to watch LIP. But compared to RMP, LIP has better characters, plot, flow, chemistry and each couple makes you care for them. The only thing that makes RMP better than LIP is the ending that makes you smile and happy. It makes sense since RMP is the final chapter of FSM.

Oh btw I just found this tweet regarding the Fox Spirit Matchmaker trilogy. Keep in mind that it contains ending spoiler from Sword and Beloved...

Do I have to watch part 1 before starting this?
No. This is actually the prequel. Fox Spirit Matchmaker is a trilogy:
1. Love in Pavilion
2. Sword and Beloved
3. Red Moon Pact

Tbh if you want a complete story, you have to watch in that order. Sadly Sword and Beloved is not yet aired...

I watched this out of boredom. purely bcos it is about demons and spirits, not bcos I'm a fan of any of the leads. This drama is so good and filled with character growth. The acting is so good and the flow moves smoothly, not too fast nor slow. Until it reaches climax and we are given stupid ending created by iqiyi 😑

Why do you need a realistic ending for a fantasy drama???? Absurd! I can't believe they rejected a happy ending script for cost efficiency πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ oh yeah sad ending only requires tears huh? There is a reason why iqiyi has been stuck...

Title Love in Pavilion Spoiler
The actor made a brief appearance in the extra scene as Bai Lou, Yuechu's father.
No. Bai Lou is Qinlan's husband and Yuechu's father. Bai Lou is not Li Quzhou. He is just a weak mortal, a farmer.

True, serendipity blurs that line a lot but in TRON, ML at least maintained his distance and was respectful. although…
Agreed! Only when she leaves Luo house, he dares to pursue her. Also even though when they were kids Yining treated him badly, he never holds grudges.

Normally, the sequel has never been better than the first one. But, Love in Pavilion is def far beyond more interesting…
I have to correct you. LIP is the prequel to RMP, not sequel πŸ‘πŸ»
