The novel is ridiculously long! I got tired when I read it last year. They spent a lot of chapters just for cheesy dialogues by Huayong 🤦‍♀️

My fav character is Changqing ❤ For me, 3 most tragic characters in the novel: Changqing, Shulin, Yingruo. Although the 3rd prince is also pitiful.

In the novel she leaves him twice. First, after he poisons her, she runs away to Wuyin. Second, when she realizes his plans to make Wei rules over Zhao. She returns to Zhao to help Changjue and defends Zhao.

It feels like "finally someone has no problem with harem!" 👍🏻 though the first half of the novel focuses on the harem, the drama only shows tiny bit of it.

Unlike other FL, Taohua doesn't care about chastity. She even asked for the second round. She doesn't forgive him. She's just being indifferent.
