This drama has 3 parts, and somehow I got bored so I skipped part 2 and 3. Part 1 was good, but I dislike the ML's character in part 2. I feel like the actor doesn't suit the nerd teenage character. He looks awkward. Sadly I won't watch the sequel.

Actually I didn't have plan to watch this, but i have watched 3 of Zhang Wanyi's drama, so I thought of giving it a try. So far I have no problem with the pace and plot. It is slow, but it's fine for me.

Women in ancient era really had difficult life. Men can make or break them. The father here is so narrow minded, blind and biased. Although he does listen to his mother and can be convinced.

Btw it was cute to see Nine in historical drama 😆 and Wu Yuheng as the sixth uncle.

I'm now on ep 14 and what annoys me the most is Lu Chang's attitude. He was the one who avoided her, ignored her, misjudged her, didn't want to spend time to know her, rejected her and felt relieved when she canceled the marriage. Now seeing she likes another man, he feels jealous, agitated, angry, etc. He bullies Qingzhao to vent his jealousy. What right does he have? He rejected her for years!
