He doesn't want to face facts and the present. That's why he is so obsessive. Sadly even though Yining keeps rejecting him, she also doesn't maintain proper distance. If I were her, when he gets close to me, I would run or step back 10 steps, and when he calls me Meimei, I would keep walking.
Third, idk why the writer had the needs to give a farewell arc to Mad Lu. Who cares about him? no one sympathizes with him.

Love in Pavilion is the first story as it tells about the parents. While Red Moon Pact and Sword and Beloved are the sequels that happen in the same time line. Red Moon Pact's ML is the son of Dongfang Qinlan, while Sword and Beloved's ML is the son of Huaizhu.
The chemistry is good, the kisses are good, the romance is good. ML is so whipped for FL. The duration is too long and the story drags a lot.
My complains: 1. ML often wears shorts.. 2. Her dad caught his wife having sex with other man, yet he didn't divorce her is outrageous! Instead he kicked FL out of the family registry?
