Novel: 3 years of marriage with 2 kids
Drama: 5 years of marriage with 1 kid.
Is it bcos in the drama Dou Zhao is in her 30s? So it is harder for her to get pregnant? On the novel Dou Zhao is 17 and Song Mo is very *cough* horny *cough* so they do it very often.
I started reading the novel while they were still filming. Although there are many changes, the essential plots are still there. My only disappointments: 1. Dou Shishu became evil. Give me back my fifth uncle! π 2. Jiang Yan, where are you??? π 3. They butchered the kiss!!!! The director passionately taught the actors, the actors diligently did as they were told to, yet from ep 26, each kiss only lasted less than 1 sec π€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ the bts is much better π 4. *on the spoiler below".
BIG SPOILER! Iβm on episode 13.Why THE HECK did they kill off the one twin body guard π‘ I was so excited…
On the novel, Song Mo has brothers that work for him: Chen He and Chen Tao. Chen Tao was captured and tortured by Song Yichun. He died. Lu Ming and Lu Zheng are the replacement for this Chen brothers. So I expected in the drama, one of the Lu twins will die as well...
can someone recommend good dramas they're currently watching? I feel like I'm going to throw up for the 10th time…
The Story of Minglan is excellent! It's just the episodes are long π A Dream of Splendor also good recommendation.
My personal fave: Royal Rumours (Xu Zhengxi, Meng Ziyi). It is pure romcom with equally strong leads: crown prince with the daughter of the generals. No breakup, no misunderstanding (at first they doubted e/o though), only slight jealousy that comes off very comical.
Question: is yan tang like his nickname ? Why is he called song mo then yan tang ?
Just like AtsukoM and Ninan have explained, few characters here have two names: birth name and courtesy name.
Song Mo = Song Yantang Ji Yong = Ji Jianming (Yuan Tong is his Buddhist name) Wu Shan = Wu Dezhen Wei Tingyu = Wei Peijin
When people received their courtesy names, they will be called by it. If someone calls him by his birth name, it is considered rude and shows that their relationship is not close.
Shou Gu is NOT courtesy name. It is Dou Zhao's nickname she got when she was a kid. Only her family calls her that.
Guys i'm unable to move on from this drama..... their chemistry those visuals...i can't watch any other drama…
I highly recommend Royal Rumours (Xu Zhengxi, Meng Ziyi). It is pure romcom, with no breakup, no misunderstanding, only slight jealousy that came off comical. It is very lighthearted and only 24 eps.
As today the drama will end for those who purchased express package, there will be A LOT OF SPOILERS online. Refrain yourself from checking about the drama, whether it is weibo, tiktok/xhs, ig, twitter, even MDL if you don't want to see any spoilers! π±π±π±π±π± And for those who have watched the ending and want to share, please kindly use the spoiler button ππ»
does this mean there aren't any new episodes on dec 23-24?
No need to apologize. They tend to make us become the vip, then svip, then we have to pay more if we want to watch the ending faster by purchasing express pack π
New schedule is out! https://kisskh.at/photos/yWBq7K_3 I said this a few days ago! ZhaoMo cp going picnic, wearing light blue hanfu β€ Let's protect them until the end!
On the novel, Ji Yong is more annoying. He can harm and hurt people with a smile and proud in his eyes. He looks…
It was Dou Zhao that made him take imperial exams. He is ambitious and eager to be the prime minister. He has been genius himself, that's why he is infatuated with Dou Zhao whom he thinks equal to him. He is not a bad guy, esp near the end where he keeps reminding her to stay away from politics and protect herself. He hates Song Mo until the end though.
I agree that the episodes have started to slow down or get boring (the plot where we now get to see Song Han become…
Song Han is one of the villains even on the book bcos he is the exact copy of Song Yichun. His story with Miao Ansu is also written on the book. Ansu is NOT a villain, she is a victim. Soon she will realize and vents her hatred to Song Hanππ»bcos in one scene she will stab him. The only difference is Song Yichun is still alive until the end on the book.
Why are they ruining the Jiyong character? It came out of the left field. I hope his feelings are not romantic…
On the novel, Ji Yong is more annoying. He can harm and hurt people with a smile and proud in his eyes. He looks down on other people except himself and Dou Zhao. He once sold Dou Ming to human traffickers, and it traumatized her. He also threatened Dou Ming to seduce Wei Tingyu. He then schemed to frame and harm Wei Tingyu and felt satisfied, thinking Dou Zhao would be grateful. He showed no remorse when Dou Zhao confronted him. He works for the crown prince and helos suppress the rebels with Song Mo. Ji Yong isn't evil, he is just narcissistic. He always thinks what he did is right. Idk why they made him as the villain in the drama π€¦ββοΈ I still hope it was just an act to trap Prince Qing.
Ok I might be seeing things so please donβt misunderstand if Iβm wrong! No racism intended but like am I crazy…
It is understandable if we can't tell the differences π I'm still confuse too. All I can say is they have different personalities. For the twin maids, Suxin is the big sister, calm, composed, mature, has a deeper and slightly husky voice, slightly taller I guess. Sulan is younger, a little bratty and blunt, a bit boyish, with higher voice than Suxin. For the male servants, they also have similar personalities with the maids, one loud, one calm. Someone said the men are 42 y.o! Shocking! They look so young, as if 25-26!
