I don't read the novel. Once I found out the novel is 900+ chapters long and 15 girls for 1 man, I gave up 😅

For sure, the drama and novel are different.

First, on the novel, ML married the big sister. She died, then he married her little sister.

Song Yichun HATES the Jiang family and his wife. He had a lover, but was forced to marry Madam Jiang by the previous Duke Ying. The previous Duke Ying thought Song Yichun is incompetent and useless, so he planned to pass his title to Song Mo.

Song Mo has been excellent literary and military, he is fast in learning, smart, outstanding child. He is greatly favored by the emperor. His uncles helped raised and trained him. Song Yichun is jealous of Song Mo and afraid people would support him. That's why he keeps trying to tarnish Song Mo's reputation and eventually kicks him out of family registry. He wants to pass the title to Song Han bcos he can be controlled, unlike Song Mo, whom he calls rebellious, evil, unfilial. Song Yichun NEVER cares about his sons. Dou Zhao wants Song Mo to live a happy life and doesn't want him to repeat the past and become a demon. She understood he had no one to share his burdens and loneliness in the previous life and before marrying her. That's why she keeps saving him everytime he is in trouble, keeping him in the good path.

Tbh I'm glad they followed closely to the novel since the wedding: Duke Ying and his subordinate were fooled, calculating properties, Wei Tingzhen vs Dou Ming, miscarriage, fire and robbery, assigned by the emperor to investigate.
I'm just worried about Ansu. She fell for beauty trap. Run for your life! Save yourself! 😱

I moved on to Universe League and it turned out to be so good! The concept is different from other survival shows.

So for Project 7, I have the intuitions that my faves won't make it. So I'll just watch the performances and wait for article/news about the debut lineup.
