Miao Ansu and Song Han will get married. Ji Yong remains unmarried bcos he only loves Dou Zhao and looks down on other women.

In the interview, Li Yunrui said Song Mo had a dream where he is alone in the dark. But there is someone holding a lantern. This person is Dou Zhao and since then she became his love. So the scene you mentioned is a dream. They are fated in this lifetime.

For the last one it is actually "if I'm still alive, I will come to find you". Perhaps it happens during the coup. He has to go to the castle to protect the emperor.

Ji Yong and Song Mo hate e/o bcos Song Mo married Dou Zhao whom he loves. They are still at odd until the very end, but he helps Song Mo suppressing the coup.

I think they accuse her of doing something bcos they found bloody cloth. It is after she helped wounded Song Mo. Wu Shan comes and says that cloth is his.

It's funny bcos the SML is Ji Yong and not Wu Shan 😅

What's with the "let's torture Dou Zhao bcos we like it"??? 😡 Thankfully Wu Shan comes to help her.
I really hate how:
1. They made Dou Shiying a useless father.
2. Wang Yingxue roams freely like a cockroach.
3. Dou Shishu as evil character.

Dou family is supposed to be warm, honest and close to e/o. Dou Zhao is very close to them, esp with her father. Also her father confided Wang Yingxue in her room to prevent her harming Dou Zhao.

Finally we come to "the death of beloved mother" part 😭
This is the turnover for Song Mo.
But in this lifetime, Dou Zhao helps him. This will also change his fate.

Actually in the novel she explained it clearly:
She wants to change her fate in this lifetime. She didn't expect to meet Song Mo bcos in the previous life, they didn't meet in her farm. She helped him with the orphan to save the Jiang family members bcos she knew Duke Ding is destined to die. However, Song Mo was attracted to her beauty and intelligence since their first meeting at the farm and sometimes asks to meet her, which she reluctantly agrees. Not really. Her part is the prequel to Legend of Heroes main story. You don't have to watch all 5 parts. The prequel will air around summer 2025. But if you want to see her as the villain, watch Legend of Heroes until ep 18. Tbh that drama is not good, but Meng Ziyi is the reason people watched it. She really stole the highlight since ep 1.

After his family rejected his wish to marry Dou Zhao he doesn't appear again until few last chapters. He still likes Dou Zhao, but he is already married with his own cousin. The drama might have different outcome for him. Tbh I'm scared 😭

The drama is missing a key character, so idk how will they make Song Han evil.

In the novel, Song Han has been evil since childhood bcos he accidentally knew the truth about his birth. His father has been poisoning Madam Jiang and Song Han helps giving the poison himself. When Song Mo finds out, his hatred to his father and didi reaches MAX. Moreover, both of them ally with Prince Qing and the empress to usurp the throne.

Idk how many will change though... but you can see how Madam Jiang's health keeps getting worse...
