There's season 2 for backstory.. Do you not get it?
Lol so they would elaborate the whole past of Lady Maeda and Seishin in season 2? Where there was enough time to explain it in season 1, even just 5 minutes, but they gave the screentime to romance.
Three points that I love about this drama: acting, action and Japanese conversations.
I highly, greatly appreciate the efforts of these actors (including the soldiers) in speaking Japanese. idk how long they practiced, but they did so well. Lacking or not, what I like is the efforts. As someone who studied Japanese I could understand the conversations. I wish Bridal Mask was like this. Even cdramas about Japanese occupation, the Japanese don't speak Japanese 🤦♀️ all of their conversations are done in Chinese. They always make me scream "WHY??" 😭
I watched this drama for Han Sohee and bcos I love action thriller. This is actually good. I love the action. None of the actors lack in acting, especially the major characters 👍🏻
My main problems: 1. The romance. So unnecessary. Suddenly become deeply in love in just 3 days after meeting 🙄 2. They sure take a loooooooooooooooooooong time to talk. Especially in eps 7, 9, 10. Even when they are under fire, hiding, escaping, they have the time for romance 😑 3. Rather than explaining the backstory of Lady Maeda and Seishin, the screentime was given to the leads kissing, hugging, holding hands, staring. Even my mom yelled a lot "HURRY UP!!! No time for drama!" 🤣
Just focus on the content. On the people and their stories and not where they live.
Lol did you read what I'm concerned about? They usually have additional member before going to Jeju. In that case where would he/she sleep? I'm focusing on the WHOLE contents.

It's not always one couple per one episode, but they always reveal the first two couples at the start. Usually they will reveal another couple after the first date.
This is just me. I'm disappointed with the house: plain dull. Season 1 has spacious house, especially the bedrooms. The 2 guesthouses in Jeju are also beautiful. Season 2 has the grandest and biggest house. They even rented the whole resort in Jeju. Now season 3 they live in a small dormitory house. What if another tenant moves in? Where would he/she sleep?

Dating period doesn't really matter if they still love each other and have the intention to date again. The ex couple on season 1 dated for only 4 months, but they wanted to go back, that's why they joined the show. They are still dating now. It will be their third year anniversary.

FL's father is the lieutenant of ML's father. So she lived in ML's house since they were kids. FL was supposed to marry his gege when they become adult. After the incident, FL and ML lived together for a few years before they got separated. This drama took place 10 years after the incident, they were kids back then. So basically, she isn't really his SIL.
Finished watching until ep 7. It's so short and fast! Seems like everyone except Lin Wenyu is evil. And we have a spoiled rich biatch troll again here 😒
Btw the SML character named Song Huaining. He is an adoptive son of the Song family.

Fave chemistry: Jang Taesang and Lady Maeda. Their chemistry is sizzling from the start! Even when there's no skinship. Kinda similar to ShangQian cp.
Wi Hajun is such a waste! I expected a lot from his character, but... 😑
