This episode15 was about Wildflower class first half and Se Ho second half.....like OMFG I forgot how awful he…
I too shed some tears when Se Ho was talking to Bok Soo’s mom. She is such a wise and kindhearted person! Hope she gets a second chance at love with prof. Park. They seem very compatible to each other - despite Bok Soo’s claim that he has to be very handsome like his father was! Hehehe
did sung joon had a love interest in this drama?? if yes, then did he end up with her??
Yes the girl chasing after Sung Joon finally wore down his defenses, and he eneded up with her. She was cute though and was rewarded for her persistence.
Hey can you tell me if the two leads end up together ?
The final scene inplies that they will be a couple and will be even happily married in the future. *”Operation Breakfast at Tiffany’s” plus couple rings!!
I haven't finished watching the drama, but I've been skipping around and peeking ahead. It has a happy ending…
Thank you for this. Now I know that I will never go back to it - no matter how much i love Zhang Han! I dropped it after episode 20 because I could not take the constant separating-getting back together! Now I know that the ending sucks and the whole series is NOT worth the time ... 48 episodes!!! Thanks again for the summary!
Personally, I'm a happy-ending person but I find this ending really realistic and def. slice of life ~ I don't…
Same here - I am usually a happy ending person, but after the unfolding of the events during their relationship, the ending is the proper “happy ending” for both of them. The girl is truly happy to marry someone who cherishes and values her (presumably, based in her radiant smile at the end) and the guy has come to terms with his past mistakes and is now able to accept that they will never be together, plus he now sincerely wishes for her to have a happy life.
Ofc there is a bit of a heartache but I found it very realistic considering how the story went. Sorry guys but…
I just finished the movie, and I agree with you about how the ending is the more logical and realistic conclusion, even though I am usually a “happy ending” person myself. I was dreading a sad ending when the scenes were about them being happy together, but when he sincerely meant what he said to his friend that he is afraid he may regret having met (or choosing) her, then the ending became acceptable to me when it happened. At least they girl was happy to be with someone who really loves her, and the guy has come to peace with the situation and truly wishes her a happy life.
I was on the fence about watching Where Stars Land (though I want to see Lee Je Hoon again) but your article persuaded me to give it a try, so thank you for such a well-written piece.
And your new term “coffee table drama” is great and very creative! Kudos! I love those kind of dramas — any day (Oh my Venus is one of my top favorites! I enjoyed Marriage, Not dating, but have not seen A Poem A Day yet). Looking forward to your new article on Coffee Table Dramas!
I didn't know that the plot had changed, and that it was the woman who changes her appearance, but I hope I will…
I loved the movie, but I am watching this series with an open mind . I treat it as another story altogether, with just one sinilarity with the movie - that one main character changes appearance very now and then. That is how I am enjoying this show so much. Hope you like it as well. It gets better and better. Love the couples and the twists and turns of the story so far (now at Episode 8).
I am only 10 episodes in, but I have never been this excited with a Chinese drama since Boss and Me! Though this has a more serious theme, the love story is just as compelling and fun to watch as that other drama with Zhang Han as the lead actor too.
For the first time ever, I can say - without joking - that in this series EVERYONE (except 1 main character) dies!! But it is still an amazing, unique, beautiful, inspiring story and one of the best-produced dramas I have ever seen. Superb!
Congratulations to the cast and crew of Mr. Sunshine. Writer-nim KIm Eun Sook, you are magnificent, but oh-so-cruel to us viewers!
Eugene Choi, you have lived up to your name Sir! (Salute!!)
