Ep 31 had one of the funniest and most emotional scenes of the drama. This is where this drama shines, you can laugh out loud and then bawl your eyes out in the same ep. The beginning part of the ep when both couples and the dad reunite after the void couple escapes was absolutely hilarious!! šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

I really hated the dad up until this episode but he certainly managed to squirm his way into my heart by the end ā¤ļø

I'm so glad CXX was finally able to land a "good guy" role after playing such ruthless roles in Goodbye My Princess and Legend of the Condor Heroes. His acting range is crazy but it's sad that he played those ruthless characters so well that it was hard for people to see it wasn't him and just the characters he played. Always been a fan of his and I can't wait to see his next projects!!

Every single cast member carried their role so well and showed emotion beautifully. What a black horse drama this is! Everything made sense and there were also no perfect characters. Every character had flaws and weaknesses but it made them all the more relatable.

I really enjoyed this more than Love Between Fairy and Devil (personal opinion, don't come for me) as the both the FL's were smart, mature and confident. For me, the main FL playfulness in this drama was also more tolerable than most other FL leads. Maybe due to her using her own voice instead of high pitched dubbing? Either way, she was lovable from the begining and I really enjoyed the sisterly affection of the two FL's. It never wavered and was always comforting to watch.

I will miss every charcter. Worth a rewatch for sure!

I need to watch a healing drama like Meet Yourself. I watched a few dramas recently that totally destroyed me.…
I would recommend Home town Cha Cha Cha first if you haven’t seen it. Our blues is very similar but a little heavier I would say 😊 hope you find something healing to watch soon

Little WKX actor is played by the same kid who portrayed the second brother on go ahead! So cute ā˜ŗļø honestly I’m just here for WKX character. Gong Jun is smashing it out of the park with the portrayal of this multi layered character. ā€œIf looks can killā€ sentiment is very much accurate in some scenes with WKX death stare. I’m a sucker for antihero’s so I’m deeply fascinated by WKX. ZZH has played the typical cold yet warm at heart character too many times so for me, there is very little wow factor with his character here apart from the chemistry with GJ. Looking forward the the rest of the series!!

Honestly Mild looks soo much like Park Min Young when she has her hair down. The resemblance is uncanny in some shots! Great drama. Highly recommend for those who enjoy the heavier storyline’s with a ton of life lessons

same here... the first kiss - the face grab... ummm and like no.
Right?! Too many grabs and pulls for my liking. She’s a human being, not an object for god sake. The hotel scene really, really really annoyed me too and everyone is here like ā€œOMG it’s so cute, ā€œwoofā€ā€. It was not mutually consented!! Ahrrrr sooo creepy ?

I’m on the last episode and the hotel scene was super uncomfortable. And I feel like there wasn’t enough back…
Agreed, I was sooo confused as to why everyone was raving about how cute it was because the FL was actually SUPER UNWILLING! Creepy as hell

Personal opinion: Some parts of the interactions between the Main couple really irked me as it bordered abuse. I wish their first kiss was done differently and don’t even get me started on the amount of times he man handled her especially around the second ML. I know it’s meant to come off as protective and cute but it just didn’t sit well with me. It definitely lessened as their relationship progressed but it really ruined the viewing experience as this behaviour really shouldn’t be normalised and encouraged. I do admit they had great chemistry but I actually prefer the second ML more as he didn’t come off as possessive like the ML did.

The second lead couple IMO stole the show. Their character development and interactions were so realalistic and relatable that I wished the drama was based on their story instead. The actor and actress that portrayed the respective roles had more chemistry in every single interaction than the main couple. Fu Xuan's character was calm, collected, smart and witty. She was never impulsive and was always sure of herself and her worth. Wu Bai Qi was committed, reliable and changed for the better. Taking her words of descirbing him at the beginning as encouragement rather than letting pride get in his way. He knew when to be firm and when to let her take control. Always treating Fu Xuan with the utmost respect and care like she is the most precious thing in the world. What more could you want in a man? Their relationship was built on honesty and trust but most improtantly it developed naturally from respect to admiration and finally, love. This couple is the main reason why I continued to watch this show as the main leads story got boring and repeatitive, fast. I would recommend this drama for the second couple story. The ending episodes are the sweetest but I do wish we got to see more of their happy ending.

Review Meteor Garden
You're review is so spot on. I ended up watching b/c I had recently just finished watching Boys Over Flowers 2009…
Thank you!! Great to hear you found my review interesting.

The Korean version was miles better than this one and the cast there is amazing as well. Yes, the dubbing is the absolute worst especially Shan Cai's!!

Darren made me melt as he played the soft and tender HZL so well. Dylan's smile is very attractive and I enjoyed seeing his transition from mean and tough to kind and sweet. All three leads are on par with the original Taiwanese version and you would expect that as the director was the same as the original. Too bad that the story line took some weird turns and that they were hell bent on making money thorugh product placements...I think it had great potential and the chemistry from the main leads would have made it easier to overlook little plot holes but dam, these plot holes were like black hole size LOL

Title Love and Redemption Spoiler
Now that I've finshed the drama, I think the main reason why SF had to suffer so much was because XJ hatred and thirst for revenge could only be dissapated after seeing such sincere and selfless suffering from the one who loved her. He literally used himself to not only save her but the entire world by reincarnating over the 10 lifetimes to endure the suffering for her. To show her there is still good in the world and to let her live out the 10 lifetime trial peacefully. Love and Redemption is a very fitting name. XJ held so much guilt for killing her own kind which is a more mental suffering once she awakens. Crystal Yuan didn't portray emotions well which adds fire to the fuel that XJ didn't suffer as much so I feel that with an actress who could portray deep emotions better, we may all feel differently about this topic. This is just my opinion, please stay civil LOL

I just watched episode 42 using google translate on youtube. The subs are not great so I am sure there are things…
You gave me a new prospective on XJ character. I still do think that SF suffers much more physcially compared to XJ but it's true that she never had free will.

What a great start to the drama. At episode 14 and not at all bored. Leo Lua plays the ML perfectly. Elegant and poised but in a masculine way. Cannot wait to see Yukee become a bad ass. Great chemistry and emotional scenes have played out tear jerkingly well. One of the best 2020 dramas so far. Waiting patiently for more greatness from this story!

Title Love Designer Spoiler
I think everyone needs a best friend like Qin Qing. Her very first scene was great and stole the show for me. The romance between the leads kinda reminds me of a cat and mouse game. There’s so much attraction and every time they are together onscreen I can feel the sexual tension that’s there. BUT I am not enjoying the non-directness of the ML. I prefer the second couples directness. I also CANNOT believe they are still writing second FL as the vindictive scheming witches we all know and hate. She has absolutely no depth as a character and overall just obsessive. FL is too naive even after losing a fortune in the beginning. I keep thinking, when will she learn? I love the actors so will continue wearily...

Someone convince me to watch this. I hear it's amazing but I do not like action shows and the plot doesn't appeal…
It's not all action. It has love, friendship and family bonds all rolled into one great mystery drama. It keeps you guessing and throws you off course at times but the ending was...well I'd need to let you watch and decide for yourself....

I thought the same! I still think he is very "baby faced" for the role but maybe he will grow on me...gotta say…
hahahaa I have only seen him in TMOPB and he wasn't great but not a main character so I wasn't too focused on him. I've heard ALOT of negative comments about his acting though...is he really that bad?
