The acting of the main character is sososososo bad it almost ruins the drama completely 😠It's still nice enough…
Actually, the acting was spot-on. He played a character that shows signs of some random disorder that affects the personality. He may be a bit autistic or have some other syndrome that causes "alternate thinking" to some degree. These people process things differently, hence the original lack of need for a friend, and the "honesty" they talk about. When he becomes proactive about finding a friend, at least 2 of the council are happy to befriend him and try to include him, while being a bit protective of him at the same time. This happens often real life. I know of multiple people who have had similar experiences (not the BL part, but the part where people befriend and protect someone who thinks differently.) Personally, my own daughter has alternate thinking, and I truly appreciate her friends, because it's not always easy to accept someone who processes information differently.
Same! Now that there's finally an air date, I have to wait for its completion so I can binge, because there's…
Oh, honey, you might need a valium or 2 to get you thru!
That being said, I read a post from someone else about the wait for Between Us....so I went and counted....16 episodes, assuming no breaks, has the last episode airing on March 3. O-M-G!!!!! smh I've waited this long, I guess I can hold out til *sob* March...
When I tell you that this has been the one thing getting me through each day? I'd be exaggerating but my point…
Same! Now that there's finally an air date, I have to wait for its completion so I can binge, because there's no way I can survive an episode per week!
I'm way more invested in this show then I thought I would be, lowkey regret randomly starting this last Wednesday…
I'm here sucking up comments and avoiding tiktoks so I can binge. I think I would have a mental breakdown if I had to watch an episode per week, but I am so excited for this series!
I think it's a good call you made on the blowing on the neck.To me I think alot of people may misunderstand the…
True, product placements are the absolute worst! They are so obvious! But I figure if I have to endure them, at least I know that these products are paying for my entertainment.
As far as real life experience....I can't comment more, lest this discussion become "television acceptable eroticism in BL vs. real life" and that's not appropriate on this board. LOL

You wrote: " I do understand why some people dont get it but if you have not experienced it before (or its not your jam) you would not understand what is exactly going on." I think the lack of experience irl is the problem with a lot of the responders on these boards. Another person posted that if you have to ask for permission for everything, it's no longer romantic or sexy, and I agree with this statement also. I see posts that say Mame has never seen or consulted with a man when she writes her stories. She writes fiction, but I'm 100% sure that she has done her homework. Not all fiction is fiction.
Jesus Christ yes please. But I already saw it happening with episode one. I added one comment hoping to get the…
You said: " We are all mature enough to be able to distinguish between reality and fiction." Are we though? "We" is a wide range of education, moralities, and opinions. Personally, I agree with you, "It's not that hard." But apparently the 'off' button is missing for some.
Mame is a Thai author who writes for Thai readers, and they seem to like her books. Sometimes, Thai fans seem…
Honestly. Fact is, if those people who claim Mame's characters are toxic, violent, etc. were characters, they would be considered the toxic ones in the series. My original point was that if they don't want her to be popular, they should quit giving her publicity. But no, people keep watching and reading and talking about her, and at this point, many are seeking her out because she's known, and because her productions are popular.
BL works in general are pretty much fantasy, and some get beaten up for being fluffy and unrealistic. But when you throw some realism in the mix, such as homophobia, toxic people/relationships, noncon, etc., suddenly you're on the flip side and getting hate for that as well. There's never going to be a perfect balance for everyone. Those who have trouble separating fantasy from reality should maybe stop watching tv? Because for some, reality is so much worse.....
I'm so excited for this series, but I'm waiting until I can binge it. So I was reading the comments, because I'm apparently a glutton for punishment. But the one question I have from the comments: If people don't like Mame and her writing style, why do they continue to watch her dramas?? She's not going to change if she continues to have the support of the viewers. Badmouthing does nothing but give her publicity. I've watched a good 50 or so BL's, and she is literally the only writer I know by name due to the (good or bad) publicity she's had.
