Yes, Prem was supposedly chubby but I agree with you, I never saw it. I had assumed, when I saw UWMA, that it was the character that was supposed to be chubby, but the person they put into the role wasn't. Honestly, whenever I saw clips of Boun calling Prem fat or chubby, I thought he was actually referring to the character. But it seems I was wrong, as he wouldn't let it die. Maybe some of this wording is taken differently in English than in Thai. Idk. Earlier today I was watching some of the Boun/Prem content from the last couple years, and I did not realize the amount of times Boun called Prem fat, chubby, or something similar. I knew that he had said it a few times, but even if he was teasing, he went overboard. It very much makes me wonder if that is why Prem had to take some time off for "illness." I know he lost a lot of weight during that time, but imo he was fine beforehand, and looked sick after he came back. He definitely looks more healthy now, but Boun is naturally tall and thin, and (I assume) doesn't understand what those comments can do to a person's mental health.
I was disappointed when Sammy lost weight, as she represented those who weren't ultra thin. People of all looks, shapes, and sizes deserve to have love and experiences. I know these BL actors are simply actors, but I find it sad that we support them regardless (or because of) their roles while some of them (and their supporters) cause beautiful people to feel less than worthy through fat-shaming and/or lack of representation. And honestly, the reverse is true many times as well....some are shamed for being too thin. (Generally in the BL world, this is shown as being looked down upon because of a lack of a 6-pack.)
That being said, if Sammy is more happy/healthy now, then more power to her. She is still my favorite female Thai actress.
Side-note: the few times Dean (Ohm's character) spoke....did anyone else have the same reaction of "Omg words actually came out of his mouth!" LOL. I actually had to pause once to process that he had dialogue!
