I thought that I was the only one thinking this. Good to know I'm not alone.
You don't think the vibes are intended to be awkward? It is my opinion that they are meant to be. No one is comfortable in this series. All of them are either calculating something, concerned about something, wanting something, or feeling sorry for themselves. No one is sure about anything. I think that once Nueng and Palm get some time alone and gain some confidence in their relationship (I'm assuming this will happen LOL) the vibes, at least between them, will get better.
Again, my opinion, but I think the vibes are telling a better story than the dialogue is. For example, Palm being uncomfortable all the time...I don't think it's Pond being uncomfortable, but his character Palm that's uncomfortable. He was taken away from his life and put into a position where he has to be subordinate to someone he hasn't built respect for. He doesn't want to be there. It's not his lifestyle and he doesn't understand it.
The fight scenes in general, I don't have a problem with because fights are messy and don't usually end up the way you think they should. However, that last shooting scene....Palm should have hit something with that shot, but, he's what, 18? He's lucky that he didn't hit his own father in all that panic. And the father.....doing the whole 'get the gun....no, get Nueng to safety' kind of thing....Palm's so confused by this point, I'm surprised he remembered how to shift gears. LOL
Also...repressed feelings can lead to aggressive kissing. Aaand I'm just going to leave that there. ROFL
So I have a question: Why did Nueng write "fool" on the cast? Is it because he thinks Palm is a fool for not realizing how Nueng feels? Or does Nueng think that Palm is foolish for following his father's orders? Or because Nueng thinks he's a fool for getting hurt in the first place? Or maybe Nueng thinks Palm is in a place and position where he doesn't belong? Maybe all of the above?
I hope Chopper isn't responsible for the pictures. I'd like to see them take a different route in this drama and actually have Chopper be a good guy....but I'm not holding my breath.
The series is not bad and I understand where people are coming from based on nueng behavior. Let’s not forget…
"Like sir! this is your son." Exactly!!!
I think that Nueng is trying hard to trust someone, and Ben being good to him is something he hasn't had much experience with, in a school full of bullies. Also, I think that Nueng is getting sucked in by the attention. All relationships require taking a chance, but I think it's obvious that Nueng's preference is Palm. But Nueng and Palm are going to have to develop some mutual respect if they want a successful relationship.
And yes, Phuwin and Pond are acting out their characters great in my opinion.
I'm going to drop a positive comment to help combat some of the negativity here. I love BounPrem. I love WinTeam. I love all the side couples as well. Although Sammy is my favorite Thai actress, I'm glad we aren't getting a lot of the PruekManow story, because that would mean there was conflict, and I hate to see Sammy cry. I love the BeePrince story, and I hope they can figure things out.
I hope that Win gets his head straight before he loses Team. He's doing all the right things except for keeping their relationship unclear. So currently, Team has confidence in the friends department (and even in the FWB department) but not in the romance department because Win is holding back. I haven't read Hemp Rope so I'm unsure how the story is supposed to go, but with only 3 episodes left, I'm crossing my fingers for a happy ending.
I've never left a comment section on MDL with a smile on my face before! I think none of us know exactly why, but so many of us like this silly show. Hahaha
Holy crap the amount of hate I’m seeing for this series on here is insane. It’s okay to have an opinion, but…
I think both Phuwin and Pond are doing a great job. To me, it seems that Pond's stiffness and awkwardness is part of the uncomfortableness of the character itself.
So I get why drunk Nueng flipped out on Palm. He was hurt and jealous, and saying every hurtful thing that he could to Palm. I get why Palm is so awkward towards Nueng. He likes him but he has to respect the hierarchy within the household. I get Chopper liking Ben, and being cautious but hopeful around Nueng. I like all the acting. I think the actors are doing a great job. But I can't figure out why the flow of the show feels more like it's stutter-stepping than flowing smoothly. I mean, it's a show, I'm not looking for reality. But I am looking for it to...flow more smoothly....I don't even know how to explain.... :/
Maybe part of the problem is that I get a sense of hopelessness from the show? Idk.
Again long poses with no dialog, but overall ep 7 was a cute episode
I like when Noey pushes things along during the long pauses or during Thi's inner dialogue. It's like he's saying 'hey, I'm waiting....and the audience is waiting...and we ain't got all day!' LOL
I enjoyed the first 2 episodes, but I wish the chemistry was better. To me, the kiss on the cheek felt way too brotherly, and almost out of line. But that's ok, it doesn't have to be perfect for me to like the story.
I'm going to be reeeealy unpopular on this board for a minute and say that I happen to absolutely love the Bee/Prince side couple. I think it's so cute how Bee is crushing on Prince. Chemistry aside, he just likes the guy. It happens.

Be who you are and love who you love. If the one you love reciprocates that love, that's all anyone should need to know.
