I don't know about Pasta but Love Shuffle is one the better mature rom-com I've ever seen.

Don't expect what happened in the Taiwanese version to happen here as well. Japanese are not like Taiwanese when doing romance and the age of Miki is another factor that stops that from happening. It's better not to have high expectations.

Don't let the length stop you from watching the Taiwanese version. It won't disappoint you if you like the manga.
Several news reports talked about the length over and over again. And I have no idea about that type of time but the special is surely not one hour long.
