Such a great movie! A South Korean Action/Thriller about a North Korean secret spy is something I would enjoy and I did.
Let's not forget the amazing set of actors, Ha Jeong Woo and Han Seok Kyu were awesome in this alongside Jun Ji Hyun and Ryoo Seung Bum. Korean movies' actors never fail to deliver great performances.
It's a mix between Godfather and Infernal Affairs (The Departed) made in the Korean way. I really enjoyed this movie although that "twist" was no way to be surprising in my book. Korean gangster pictures just keep getting better and better over the years.
Oori Ahjussi's were awesome in this (acting wise of course). Lee Jung Jae ahjussi and Choi Min Sik ahjussi never disappoint. Even Park Sung Woong and Hwang Jeong Min did a great job.
It was good but not very good. I liked the parodies they used but the mystery and the fake effects were less than average. Even the action wasn't that solid.
Absolutely not one of Jet Li's best movies, he could've chosen a better film for 2013.
liked this movie and I am glad I watched it after I finished the whole Ip Man's movies. The cinematography was mesmerizing and the acting is high class. I mean it's Tony and Zhang Ziyi as main leads but I think what I disliked about this movie that they didn't focus on Ip Man's story like they were supposed to.
Anyway, it was a good watch. No regrets.
Let me first state that I didn't watch this because of Kim Bum; although the guy can be an epic eye candy but I actually saw this because it's a suspense thriller aka my favorite genres in Korean cinema.
Now, let's talk about the movie. It was a pleasant watch and a good thriller but it could've been done way better than this. There was something missing in the plot and the second half was more enjoyable than the first one.
Acting wise, Kim Bum was cool but Kim Kang Woo outclassed him from any angle you look at it. Also, Kim Yoo Bin is forever one of my favorite child stars.
This film was a Sci-Fi mystery/detective thriller and I appreciated the pattern and the facts reveal although it was a bit predictable with some pacing problems but it's totally recommendable for thriller lovers who don't mind the Sci-Fi element.
The acting department was pretty cool, nothing less to expect from Toyokawa and Ninomiya did a great job.
I am not Arashi's or Asian music's fan in general, I mean I don't even know a dingle song by them but I've got to say that the group has some great actors in it. The best ones are totally Ohno and Ninomiya then Sakurai and Matsumuto.
It was very different and enjoyable. Take five was a pleasant watch but I found it predictable and somewhat flawed. I still loved the idea and some of the acting though.
Now that was a disappointment, the worst action thriller I saw in the last few years. The director of this movie should be banned from doing others. It's such a waste of budget and Andy Lau's talent. Darn it, how can Andy choose such a film?
The action scenes were pretty random and pacing was off most of the time. I am being a bit nice with my rating.
That was stupid, childish and with disastrous acting skills. I watched it months ago and I decided to come back and lower the rating once again. In short: a complete waste of time.
Charlie Young's debut as a director can be considered a success. But you can sense a woman's touch in this.
This is a courtroom movie; it can be considered a mystery thriller in search for the truth behind a case of sexual assault. A theme that's not very common in Asian Cinema. The movie failed to surprise me in anyway. I was sure about what will happen from the get-go but the theme, the concept and the short length were much appreciated.
Let's not forget the amazing actors who made this film an enjoyable ride. Aaron Kwok and Chang Chen are personal favorites and two of the few actors who keep getting better over the years in HKC cinema. On the other hand, Kwai Lun Mei was quite convincing with solid performance here.
The final part of the revenge trilogy was quite satifying; this was a great way to end the revenge tales.

The sweetest birthday wishes Sandrose, may your life be full of joy and countless of precious moments. I don't know if it already passed February the 6th in your country though.
About Reply 1994, I found the length of episodes rather annoying. Sometimess it even gets to almost 2 hours sometimes. tvN was over doing it but R.1994 did break the records in the ratings for a cable channel.
You're very welcome; I really liked the Japanese version but sadly, there was no subtitles; I watched it raw trusting my Japanese lingual skills and it worked for me. Maybe you should try that too?
Aha! This looks exactly like OCN's "The Ghost Seeing detective" but who cares? I am detective dramas' fan and Oguri is one of my favorite actors so I am going to watch it no matter what.
Also, the Korean and Japanese ways of doing detective dramas is very different.
There's something very captivating about him; such a great actor!

Yes; I am sure you will be able to understand further more details when you finish the drama. Are you almost through with it?
As for YooJin and Sacheompo; I must say that they were my favorite couple even better than the main one, they're too sweet, cute and very loveable. Oh, and that cameo! I really liked it :D

If you're not in the mood for anything romantic then you should stay a mile away from this drama :D
I totally get your point! Koreans always tend to make their drama full of emotions that they end up over-doing it ina way that make their dramas look absurd. There's a movie version of the drama; have you seen it?
Oh yes; he was the father in Love Exposure. I almost forgot about that but yeah, that was his worst role for me because I hated the movie. It was complete 4 hours waste of my life, it's a hit or a miss for others; for me it was such a bad choice. I understand the creativity in it and all but that film wasn't for me. The only thing I rated 1/10 on my list with complete subjectivity.

I haven't seen that one and I don't even plan to. You know me and trajic melodramas aren't friends at all! I am sure that Nisennen no Koi is more your think than mine :D
The new melodrama I was talking about is "Beyond the Clouds"; I am most lickely going to join you on this one. It does seem interesting and the female lead is a special actress for me (:
I watched it without any subtitles and I understood most of it. I am good ain't I? You should do the same :D
