This will make you feel all of the feels
This is one of my rare top 10’s for sure. There are some people who have a problem with the age gap, but if I were 19 and a man that looked like Gong Yu showed up you better believe I’d be throwing everything out the window and say take me now yes I love you when can we get married.
Although I didn’t ABSOLUTELY love the ending, this masterpiece of a show will forever live in my heart.

Not the most memorable
I watched this because I am on a Ji Chang Wook binge. However this was not his best show in my opinion. I mean don’t get me wrong his acting skills are PHENOMINAL in anything he does. But I think what was so boring about this show was the writing. It was very slow paced. Also, ji chang wook KNOWS how to create chemistry with a fl…however the writing and story here was so bad that not even ji chang wooks perfect face and kissing skills could save this show. Was this review helpful to you?
She was how old?!?
WAIT WAIT WAIT…Was he in love with a 15 year old?!?!I wanted to give this a 10 so bad because it had Healer vibes to me. But there were some major things that I could not get past. 1st being that he was in love with a 15 year old?!? Like why did she need to be that young? The producers really just couldn’t make her 3 years older? You could have had the same story without the ick. Also the best friend who was into the underage HIGH SCHOOL brother?!? I’m really confused here..
Also I was not happy with the ending.

I ugly cried
I have never ugly cried for a straight 30 minutes in my life over a show. This changed that. But to the point. The first 9 episodes were amazing and honestly this show could have probably been wrapped up in 10-12 episodes. The repetition from episodes 10-15 has you saying, “really? We’re going through this again?” There was just too much that wasn’t needed in order to still have a great story. Episodes 16 was still very much needed though. Holy moly….
Lee Jong Suk is dreamy to watch…but they didn’t give his character much dimension in the emotions department. Scenes where you thought he should be crying he just…didn’t? And scenes where he could have used more laughter he just…didn’t? I don’t know really got to describe it but his emotions and character just didn’t seem to line up with how you would expect him to act in certain situations in order to further the deep romantic connection we are supposed to believe the ml and fl have.
My high-ish rating is solely based on the first 1-9 episodes for story development and then including the last episode 16 for the emotional experience I never knew I could have during a show.

Cute
Moon Ga-young had great acting skills and was hilarious. And while Cha Eun-woo is one of the hottest kdrama stars, his acting was subpar for me. He had the same facial expression for about 90% of the entire show. The ending was really weird to me as well and felt rushed. I didn’t care for ANY of the side relationships. Was this review helpful to you?
No other love story will compare
This...is perfection. Jiao Jiao and Ting Yan will forever live in my heart. This romance is the standard for which all other romances are compared to.Their love was pure, passionate, and the kind that moves you to your soul. No deception. No misunderstandings. Just head over heels destined love.
This romance is the romance you never knew you needed in your heart. You have to RUN and watch it now. Over and over again.

The chemistry between these two is chef’s kiss
*Edit*This show fell apart for me about half way through. The work drama side was really boring. And the chemistry between these two fizzled away. By the end of this drama I left feeling *meh* towards it all. A forgettable show.
*End edit*
I knew going into this putting Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-Jin together you couldn’t go wrong with.
My dearest showcased the depth of Eun-jin ‘s acting skills and solidified her as being one of my favorites.
I first saw Ki-yong in Atypical Family but really fell in love with him in My Roommate Is A Gumiho. His kiss scenes are some of the best I’ve seen.
I rewound several scenes from Dynamite Kiss just for the pure chemistry between these too and to see more of Ki-yong’s perfect kissing. Also, if you’ve never seen him smile…you’re missing out on life.
So far from what I’ve seen I would HIGHLY recommend this drama if you like rom-coms.
