Does anyone know what happened to the yoyo tv chanel on youtube, seems like they are systematically deleting all…
Even if they are an official channel or they get licensing for it, the videos can be still be reported and taken down/put on private, because of how easy it is for some random person/company to go click report on YouTube.
Really excited for this drama when I heard that PMY was in a historical drama. But I don't think I can start this drama knowing how tragic the story is going to be! :*(
watched till ep12 . i thought chinese drama will be aired 5 days a week. these only 3 days =( ps. without subs…
Yeah, so mamy people were focused on the korean ban, but a lot of other things were banned at the same time. I think they banned time-travel because they were scared that it may cover stories that tamper with Chinese history/culture, etc.

Not quite. I know a few lengthy dramas that are pretty flashback free, or at least with flashbacks that are used appropriately! Even the short dramas use flashbacks to draw out the drama by an episode or two! >=(
I agree. I feel like the production of costume K-dramas is probably similar to the contemporary K-dramas. But this also makes sense because some of the costume k-dramas are only 12-16 episodes long. It probably isn't practical finance-wise.
I always look for c-dramas with happy endings, but I have to admit, there something really satisfying watching a GOOD sad ending, if that makes any sense.
That doesn't count! XD Time-travel dramas are also costume dramas because the act in a historical setting after (or before) they time jump! But you're right, time travel dramas are awesome. But did you hear about the Chinese ban on time-travel aspect as well? =( At least I still have time-traveling in k-dramas...

I'm like that too, so I totally understand your struggle with idioms!
I think c-dramas are getting more and more attention and that's why they are getting larger budgets nowadays.
But truthfully, as long as they give a c-drama a good plot-line and doesn't over use flashback scenes (a legit serious problem in c-dramas), I would probably be a sucker for it. Especially if it's a costume drama, i.e. wuxia, xianxia, historical, etc.
