Does anyone understand the airing schedule for this drama? They uploaded on the 13th and 14th, so I thought that it was 1 episode each Thurs. & Fri., but there was a new episode yesterday and today... so...???
At one point I was thinking to myself "how could that many characters die in such a short period of time? If this goes on how many characters are going to be left in the end? >.<"
Still a bit confused... so Liao Jian and Pian Feng really did die?
Watched 11 episodes so far, and I'm kinda shipping the chemistry between QS and YWY much more than QS with…
I thought that if people wanted them, I could roughly translate/sub while I re-watch waiting for the new episodes and share, since there hasn't been any subbers doing this drama yet.
They have this weird (but good) chemistry... especially when they are arguing. Plus, YWY doesn't really treat her that badly, even though he suspects her of lying & stuff...

I wonder if this is going to be a tragedy like the Prince of Lan Ling...
Also, is anyone interested in rough subs/translations?
When the drama first came out, I watched the first two episodes while I was still studying in school, and didn't find the show all that interesting (probably because my brain was completely sleeping! >.<). That, along with the mediocre comments, deterred me from continuing this drama for awhile, but I'm glad that I decided to try watching it again.
With all the bad comments about the bad costumes, CGI, and acting, I thought that it would have been very obvious, but truthfully, I didn't even notice most of it as I was much more interested in the story line. I enjoyed the story line a lot; it is very reminiscent of the older wuxia/novel-based dramas I used to watch as a kid.
Does anyone understand why he didnt change his robe green?
I read the book afterwards cause it had more detail/explainations but I still don't really understand that part.
Watching the movie right now, i feel like it's poorly produced compared to the drama. Yang yang expressed xiao…
Yes, I agree, though I think it depends on which one we watch first. I've seen from people that have watched the movie first preferring the characters from the movie more.
Couldn't help it and found myself here looking for spoilers bcz I'm watching the korean adaptation and I'm in…
@Kkrazy99 No, in think the 3rd is added in the K-version because there actually was a 3rd and 4th prince who competed for the throne.
From what I read, I the real Gwangjong didn't actually killed that many of his brothers (probably only 1 or 2). I think he actually killed more of the rivaling parties, gaining his ruthless title. In the first half of his reign he was actually a pretty decent king.

The main plot line is similar, like Haesoo/Rouxi (I'll use HS to denote) going back in time, HS living with the 8th before moving to the palace, the 8th-HS-4th love triangle, the 10th crushing on HS but having to marry someone else, the 13th falling for the geisha/princess of an old empire, the 14th and 4th prince having the same mother and the mother disliking the 4th.
But, there are also many differences from the Chinese version, (I am looking forward to see how the Korean version will end), like HS's sister instead of cousin is married to the 8th, and the sister doesn't actually die until almost the end. Also, the 10th gets married to the 8th's 1st wife's younger sister (HS's sister is actually the 2nd wife of the 8th), instead of the General's daughter. Also, there is a 3rd prince who is also fighting for the throne instead of just the 4th and 8th. I think these differences is most likely to adapt to Korean history (i.e. there were actually a 3rd and 4th prince who fought for the throne, marriage laws in the Chinese period and the Korean period were different).
There are new characters that weren't really in the Chinese version like the 3rd prince, and Jumong. I think the General was also not in the Chinese version. (I am actually looking forward to what roles these characters have towards the ending of the Korean version.)
The some progression and settings of scenes is also different, like things that happened before HS entered the palace vs. things after. (I think this has to do with the episode difference, so they had to put scenes together differently)
I know this is strange to ask... but... can someone compare this to "W" and let me know if it's better?…
W is a more exciting drama because of the crime show like plot, while Love O2O is much lighter and fluffy. I think it would be like comparing an action thriller with a romantic comedy.
However, I think I would rate Love O2O's rewatch value higher, just because in W, once the mystery is solved, the story isn't as exciting. Also, for W, after I think episode 8ish(?) it felt like the storyline was being stretched to make a longer drama and the quality of the story wasn't as great as the first half.
I think LO2O is definitely worth watching...(or at least kept on the to-watch list for those rainy days) though this is opinion based, so you should just try watch the first episode and see if you get pulled into the drama or not.
Subbed the 1st episode: https://twitter.com/_Cheri_Lyn_/status/788232942069903360

Also, is second season, episodes 7-11 or are there going to be more episodes?

Maybe a special episode or movie, but, not an entire season.
'Too much of a good thing'...
