I just want to say that the writers/production actually did a really good job adapting the novel (mostly from BQ's POV) into a drama (narrator/viewer POV). When the drama was announced I was wondering how they would incorporate the back stories that BQ recounted in her mind, (I.e. Her stay at Kunlun) as the novel starts out at the birth of YH. They did a really good job rearranging the story so it could fit chronologically instead of using a bunch a flashbacks for the back stories/'previous lives'.
Is this ending seriously not a tragedy??? I don't think it had such a good ending, though it seems liked…
Truthfully, in Chinese standards... I wouldn't call it a tragedy. People all die in the end, so the fact that they got to spend those last years together, as a couple, means they got to experience their happy ending. The bit after his death and the parts after his death are just the 'after parts' that 'happily ever after' ending stories don't show.
I don't know why people keep comparing it to the jap adaptation, this drama is very good, the cast is perfect.…
To be honest, in my opinion, Joy's acting isn't actually all that horrible, considering the fact that there are some actresses and actors that completely overact, yet people totally praise them. I honestly don't understand it.
Maybe it's just the initial biased opinions against idol-actors?
If you want to get disappointed, compare it to the japanese version. If you want to enjoy a new drama, watch it…
Probably because there are so many things about this drama for people to be biased against, like comparing it to the Japanese version, or the fact that Joy is an idol actress with a main role as her first acting role.
I just watched the first episode and I have to say that LAHL is pretty mediocre. I'm still confused by So…
Maybe she just has stage fright (singing in front of people watching/evaluating her). She probably only considers singing with the ajummas as something relaxed/playing around, not an actual performance.
So is this a thing of the past or is it still supposed to come out this Wednesday (March 1st)?
I'm not sure about the MDL airing date, but when you search the drama on iQiyi, the release date stated is Jan 1, 2019, so maybe it has been delayed because of the ban...?
Does anyone know if I have to watch the 1st drama (Memory Lost) if I want to watch this? (I.e. is it a continuation through the three dramas [ML, ML2, & ML3]?)
I'm a bit disappointed that they changed the beginning from the novel... I think if they didn't the perceived chemistry between the two main characters would have been better...
Maybe it's just the initial biased opinions against idol-actors?
Is this a thriller/horror drama? Or more of a psychological drama?
