Honestly, Xiang Liu’s hair needs an award. It's one of the best white/silver hair I've seen in Cdrama. It looks natural and it flows with the wind like real fine hair does. I'm sure it wasn't cheap.

He is a very well-rounded entertainer. He is funny but appropriate and isn't shy to be himself. I like him for his personality.

The production team is probably Tan Jianci fans lol. He steals the spotlight the moment he shows up. Tan Jianci is more popular than the other three male actors combined, just looking at the number of Weibo account followers alone. He acts, sings, dances, and hosts variety shows so his fans are diverse.

FDB has known LLH for 6 years since the beginning of the novel and they're not connected by a “senior” character. They added Shan Gudao's character in the live drama to allow the two guys to have a connection.

Tan Jianci is a good actor. He plays the cruel Xiang Liu so well. Thumbs up to him for taking on this complex role. His eyes and micro-expression are so good. You can see a second of vulnerability then cruelty the next. If you hate the character right now, then the actor is doing a good job bc that's how Xiang Liu was in the novel.

Cause they're both crazy. Lol. Jokes aside, they do have a similar horrible past experience so they do understand each other. Almost soulmate-like bc they just click in a short amount of time. Whereas, she didn't start to look at Jing differently until 6 years later. She's not afraid of XL and he knows that. He's ruthless but he's slowly changing too and I’m not excusing him of his credulity of course. He's still a mean nine-headed serpent.

She’s not afraid of Xiang Liu although she pretends to be and he even knows it. She thinks about him and find ways to seek him out. He’s like the fun bad boy she can’t stop thinking about. It looks like she enjoys him sucking at her neck. 🤭
