I don't think this movie will ever air. It was filmed in 2018 and was supposed to air in 2020. The funny thing is the official Weibo 电影封神三部曲官方微博 account continues to post birthday wishes to the actor/actress and season/holiday wishes. Not sure if it's a joke, but fans think it's ridiculous. They spend a lot of money and effort on this fantasy movie but won't air it for whatever reason. It's a shame.
I really enjoyed this drama as it is light-hearted, cute, and funny. Please don't watch this drama and have any expectations of a traditional historical drama or expect the king and queen to act proper. It's not serious. It's silly and over the top, and if you like that, then this drama is for you.
I’ve been following his work, but unfortunately, all three dramas he filmed are not out yet. This drama might be the only one that will air by the end of this year. I like that he looks different from the usual male leads.
I'm starting to think that the chancellor may not be a bad guy as he seems to be. He's afraid of his wife and daughter. He seems to care for them. I think he’s only acting horrible to the young emperor to teach him to be tough, how to deal with evil people, and challenging situations. He seems to want his daughter to work out with the emperor. He's been matchmaking for years. Idk. I guess we shall see.
So cute and funny. I love how unrestrained and funny LJF is. She's so cute that way. The Emperor seems cold but is very caring. They seem like a mismatched couple but it will work out. I'm rooting for them. I can’t wait for more episodes. 🥰
