It is in the novel. His Alpha father beats his son even though Shen Wenlang is almost 30 years old. It's a crazy family.

Shen Wenlang has a very complex relationship with his parents. They are toxic. His omega father killed another omega over the Alpha (Shen’s father) due to jealousy. Overall, Wenlang is very traumatized by his parents' relationship. That's why he hates Omegas and doesn't get into relationships. He does hate the thought of Gao Tu having a long-term omega partner at home, and he's jealous without realizing his true feelings. Shen’s mouth gets more foul bc he doesn't know how to deal with his frustration with Gao Tu. He is like a child who bullies another, but deep down, he likes him. Poor Gao Tu.

I wish it weren't a short drama because I always want more episodes. It seems like an enemy-to-soulmate couple. I know this drama is a bromance, but it looks like a censored danmei drama to me. Can't wait!

Family traumas. Wenlang's parents' relationship is toxic. He doesn't trust Omegas, plus his Alpha father is extremely abusive to him. His Omega Father even killed one of his Alpha husband’s mistresses—crazy stuff. Hence, Wenlang is traumatized and doesn't want a relationship, marriage, or child.

Hua is a top and dominant one. He wouldn't bottom, not even for his beloved Mr. Sheng. I haven't read an Enigma bottoming though. They have always been the top of all tops.

After Hua saved Sheng from the earthquake, Sheng thought Hua was an Alpha. He still didn't believe in an Egnima. He didn't believe until he got pregnant lol.

Hua Yong met Sheng Shaoyou when he was 8 years old and has been obsessed with him since. His extreme obsession needs to be studied. This whole scheme to get Mr. Sheng isn't something thought of overnight. It has been years of planning and waiting for the right moment. Hua Yong can be pretty scary, but his love for Mr. Sheng is real.

Hua has never been with anyone before; he reserves the marking for Mr. Sheng. This is why he's working so hard to get his man. Wenlang is only helping Hua with his schemes even though he's annoyed lol. So, no, they never had a thing.

Hua Yong is super rich, like the wealthiest man in the country. He's faking as a poor, pitiful Omega to get to Mr. Sheng. He is not an Omega. Hua’s deception is working though. Wenlang is Hua’s long-time friend and business partner, helping Hua with his scheme. Hua uses Gao Tu’s sister’s name in the hospital for his game, and Wenlang knows it. When Gao asked if Wenlang paid his sister’s medical bill, Wenlang assumed Hua Yong paid, so he quickly dismissed it. Trying not to raise suspicion. Hua has been obsessed with Mr. Sheng for many years, but now has finally implemented a plan to get him.

I hope they have more scenes for Gao Tu and Shen Wenlang. Their story is full of angst but with a happy ending. I need to see Wenlang kneeling, begging Gao Tu to return to him. I want to see Wenlang propose marriage to Gao Tu, but only to be turned down. 7 times!! I want to see him suffer!!!

In the novel, there are lower-class Aplhas like A or D-class. S-class Alphas are rarer and the strongest Alphas in their world. But of course, they still can't beat out the 1 Enigma, which most didn't know existed.
