All 3 main actors are Chinese from mainland China except for Matthew Han who is from Hong Kong. It is a China with Thailand company collaboration. Xia Liuyi does go to Thailand to do drug business and he can speak in Thai (in the novel). I'm sure we will see them in Thailand.

I'm super excited to watch this drama. The novel is quite good imo. Love He Chusan and Xia Liuyi! But forgive Liuyi in the beginning because he is a ruthless and violent gang boss, but he will change for Chusan in the end.

This is my favorite CBL drama for 2025. Yes, the last episode ended today, but overall, I still say this is my favorite. The fascinating stories/characters, the complex acting, the intense emotions, the roller coaster they put you through, the sexiness, and the redemption arc were outstanding. This is a dark romance novel readers’ dream come true and I love it. Now I'm looking forward to them filming the special episodes.

Fan Xiao and Shulang met 3 years ago when they saved the baby in the hospital. I think they hired an older child to play Tiantian, so it might be a bit confusing.

I agree. They are drawn to each other by ep 2, but just don't admit it yet. For Fan Xiao, it's still a game, and for Shulang, Fan is a good, beneficial friend. Fan Xiao will fall the hardest first. Shulang does hold back with others, but he shows more of his true self with Fan. This is why his bf Zhenzhen will say he doesn't think Shulang truly loves him, even though he shows a lot of care. He can't feel his heart or his world bc Shulang doesn't share it. But he will open up to Fan. Completely opens his heart and soul. Even his body bc he never bottomed for anyone before.

You Shulang will be more aggressive, but he has always had it in him. He wears a mask like Fan Xiao. He will have power over Fan Xiao and make him kneel at his feet. Shulang is a power bottom.
