Mom is so out of control, her behaviour was actually so disgraceful and she just acts like MCH is so ungrateful. I want to slap her😒 despite her awfulness I’m still enjoying this drama. For once I can actually see why people are fans of Yang Zi 😅I find she often plays very immature characters that get on my nerves but so far her she’s been pretty level headed. Came for Xu Kai but I don’t actually mind that he’s not been around too much because I’m still invested without him (he can obviously appear more…😇) . And of course nai nai is still the best

He works for Yueda group and if he can get the hotel he can get promoted

Poor YZM, they really just transport him around any old way 😅

I don’t normally care for Yang Zi but so far she’s not annoying me here. I’m really looking forward to more character development of Yao Zhiming so far he seems like scheming not so nice person so interested to see how he will develop. I want more scenes between him and 奶奶. I really enjoy the actress playing her 🤗

Last few eps fell a bit flat for me but otherwise an enjoyable watch 😗

This is a really well done drama. I don’t think it particularly shined a positive light on the communist party. Both sides did things that hurt the people. The irony of showing the brutality of the Kuomintang suppressing protesters like the CCP never did the same 🙄 Anyways still a fascinating time period of change in China and the actors all did an excellent job. Surprisingly, the ending was actually quite cute? 🤭 I would recommend 🤗

I got goosebumps from the scene at the stock exchange after the T bills lost their value. The despair is so real. This drama is so well done and just really keeps you on the edge of your seat.

LXY looking super handsome in today’s episodes 😍 next episodes look v exciting. Loved the supernatural/Untamed vibes (complete w Jin Ling) when they were investigating creepy Shen residence 🤭

Binged all 8 episodes today. First episode was like a whirlwind but it’s been a very interesting watch so far and I’m looking forward to more

He was way too cute once he figured it out. I’m glad he figured it out instead of her telling him- he’s smart and it shows that he really doesn’t care what she looks like as long as she’s still alive. Impatiently waiting for the next episodes 🫣
