The vibes of this drama really remind me of Dr. Zhivago 😅 not the story line but the narration, BGM and exterior shots all against a communist backdrop 🤷‍♀️ I like it anyways. Looking forward to seeing how Tong Xiaomei and Xiao Chunsheng wind up together 🫣HHL can go now

Also haven’t finished ep 21 but I’m so mad at Ye Xiwu-no matter your personal feelings you have a mission you are trying to accomplish! I don’t think Tantai Jin was wrong in the actions he took.

I think Bai Lu can carry the makeup. I don’t think she’s wearing anymore than Pian Ran actress. Chen Du Ling cannot carry all that make up tho. No hate, everyone has different skin and makeup sits differently on everyone 🤷‍♀️

It’s more the way Tian Huan killed her family-she was just doing it to punish Sang Jie for stealing Ming Ye from her (tho he was never here to begin with). At the beginning of the drama the two of them don’t know each other and he’s just the big bad and they (Immortal Sects)were in his way. It’s not the same feeling IMO- it’s not a personal grudge 🤷‍♀️

I’m honestly enjoying this dream arc because of all the links to things we have already seen 🙂 and the visuals are so amazing like in the fight between Ming Ye and the Devil God 🤩

Wowowowowowowow I so hate that Tian Huan, yuck. Totally love Tantai Jin/Ming Ye and Ye Xiwu/Sang Jiu tho. Never finished any Luo Yunxi dramas before but really enjoying him this 🥹

I really love the pacing of this drama. There’s no really draggy parts and everything moves the plot forward. It’s so refreshing. 🥹 I love this drama so much and really enjoy the cast too.🥹 I think I’m going to run out of tears soon.

Feeling the same. Was so excited for Chongzi but this is funnier and more interesting. I’m still watching both tho
