I think so because I’m the previews Chunsheng seems to have helped and he asks why he’s helping him. And Chunsheng says something like “because you’re my brother” CHUNSHENG you’re too good for this world .

We don’t know what the ending is so don’t jump to conclusions 🙂

Probably feels that her not telling him she was pregnant is a big betrayal.
But he shouldn’t have expected otherwise. She chose the art troupe over Chunsheng, Why would anything else be different 🤷‍♀️

I think he was feeling jealous at the dinner (shocker) hearing about Xiaomei and Chunsheng and the name of the company. When he first wanted to do business, he wanted Hongling to join him but she was not interested or particularly supportive. Their relationship is the complete opposite of CS/XM.

Yes, both of them just can’t let it go. Chunsheng gave them both their opportunities-getting stabbed for Hongjun to get into the entrance exam and willing to exchange his life for Guohuas. Yet, they can only treat him with contempt. They’re both so unhappy in their lives even though they have money and power. It’s actually really relatable, so many people in real life are like them. Never happy.

I think it’s good. Mostly realistic, people dealing with every day issues, some emotional stuff. Relatable in how it portrays a lot of relationships both in love and friendship.
