YES! I think people are always on edge when a show is currently airing. That pretty much happens with every show. Maybe wait till the show is over to watch. But worth it yes!

Anyone wanna place their bets on whose child that is? 1) QY or LY, 2) QM or QX, or 3) some random kid she just pitied on the street.

Also I noticed QY is so dang shy when it comes to talking about her feelings for LY. She has yeeted almost every time he tries to talk about their feelings towards each other. Haha

Yeah, she lost her mother, father, and grandmother in the span of months! And they didn’t even end on good terms, and she’s been constantly dodging death by pretending to be someone else. She just found out her sister was assaulted, and the ten fold guilt she feels for QX. Like let the girl breathe. Can you blame her for wanting a vacation lol? LY has his ambitions with the court and QY has her own goals to see the world. People are mad at QY for not staying with LY. Well, why doesn’t LY leave the court to be with QY? I’m not saying that’s what he should do, I’m just saying they both have goals they want to accomplish before they settle down. That’s okay!

My poor LY! To have found a soulmate in this lifetime who is alive and well and still cannot be with them, it must be killing him inside.

I know peeps are a little mad right now, but maybe because I’m a veteran in “shipping” couples to know that this is not the worst situation to be in. I just came from watching novoland pearl eclipse where my favorite couple both died and left their son behind, and he was in love with his dead ex wife for most of the show. So this is like child’s play for me lol. QY wants to go find herself. That’s okay. But remember LY never confessed, so you have to consider that as well. And people say “well he has done so much for her how could she leave?” Well just because a guy is nice you are not obligated to date him. She never asked him to do anything he wasn’t willing. And QY never felt indebted to him like she feels with QX, because she is actually in love with him so it never felt like a debt or guilt. Two people are in love with each other. That’s really all I care about, everything else is just good angst to me.

I’m sorry but I laughed when they were about to kiss and his mom accidentally interrupted, “ it’s just an assassination. No big deal”. This lady will do anything for grandchildren lol

I don’t think they would easily spoil the appearance of her child in the previews, that might be QM’s child.

When QY told LY about the poison, I bet wheels were turning in his head, making a mental note to himself to remove ALL poisons and weapons from their home from now on lol. QY was so excited to tell him. Like aren’t you proud of me for coming up with such a smart plan? Aren’t you proud? And in his head he must be thinking “wife, there is something wrong with your brain” haha

LY knows the plan would make more sense coming from QX so he tries to trick QY into thinking QX came up with the plan. And QY knows that LY was the one that came up with the plan. He was nodding a little too much lol. Like they know each other so well. He knows the way her mind works and she knows his body language. They always wanna be one step ahead of each other to protect the other.

You get a lot of fun filled moments with underlying romantic tones. It’s like you see them clearly love each other, but with actions, not words. That comes later. I feel like they have a lot of “couple” moments more than an actual couple would in a drama lol. The pretense makes it light and fun and we know there’s romantic undertones to their actions and an underlying sexual tension and a sense of longing. If you want them balantly just making out…we are not there YET. But you literally get everything else you would want to see for a couple.

QM asking LY, “ Aren’t we the same?” He’s like “no we are not.” Like yes sir let her know! QM is in a loveless situation with QX. LY and QY actually have feelings for each other. I feel like LY is starting to know more about QY’s feelings for him than herself.

QY gives LY a heart attack at least once every episode lol. His shocked face when she tells him that she would swallow the poison and die rather than ratting them out. He’s worried about her all the time, angry she that she hurts herself all the time. LY was ready to kill YL my god. Do not mess with the girl he loves. When LY gets mad, I love that QY pipes down some, like yes girl your man is angry you gotta chill lol. And he let her buys whatever she wants. Rumors are getting around that he spoils his concubine. “if she wants to stay, I can afford it.” Not rumors lol! And he took her to meet her favorite author. And just stares at her the whole time she’s discussing the book, just so in love with her. The closest moment where they start talking about their feelings for each other was when LY was about to send her and her family away after QM’s virginity was called into question, QY did not want to leave him and he asked “are you worried about me?” And QY made an excuse that he’s their benefactor. So close yet so far, sigh. They made LY into such a charismatic character. So devoted, single-minded, manly but soft hearted, and this man is born to wear those costumes! Every color looks so good on him! I’m so glad this is kind of a light hearted drama so I don’t really have to worry about a sad ending or whatever. QY and LY make each other so happy I’m excited to see when they are officially a couple.

LY is so pissed he slams the door open and tells her to sit down so he can attend to her wounds. He’s been holding in his anger the whole banquet! And she doesn’t question him, she does as she’s told. He allows her to be in charge of the relationship but takes over when he needs to. Cp vibes!!

That fight training scene is adorable! QY pretending that his mother was coming so she can distract him and win, and her little arms fake fighting him, and him just taking the hits so cute!
