i'm actually glad you posted this convo bec the translation for this particular scene in the video i watched felt…
alright, so The main reason why he showed up at her door was because she wanted to end the world. then they made a contract but she never saw what the contract was about. he will help her to live comfortably without pain for rest of her days and then she has to make a major wish which has to be the ending of the world. if she dies without making a wish then the person she loves the most will die. she has to just say it out loud "i want the world to end" the confirmation of her rooftop wish which was made before contract so he can't make it come true until she verifies it once again.
"What if I die without asking you to end this world?""Then someone else will die instead of you. Someone you love…
it's just the second episode but I am already loving this so much. I love the way characters are built. They feel somehow refreshing. ML being darkness, and FL counting her last days but still not knowing how she'll spend those days. The life of both beings, god and death, the beginning and the end, seems so sad. They were created out of the will of humans and they can't do anything to change it. They'll just live until they pay the price then get to be recreated again.
Really wanted SH's character to kick out DK's ex-boyfriend, that annoying creature deserved to be punched and I am glad he did so. SH's character seems cool as well. Hope he'll have more screentime. I can't wait to see how the story will go on. What the ending will be.
P.s living together? hahah interesting. That smirk MM had at the end though
"What if I die without asking you to end this world?" "Then someone else will die instead of you. Someone you love the most at that moment" And what if that will be you, Myeolmang?!
8. I thought she was, but it seems their hair is different.10. Whoa, didn't know it was the coward police's fault…
The prisoner was out of control when he was brought to the hospital ( he might've inhaled smoke too and became a puppet since the creature in the hole said it enjoys toying with people). He is leading survivors outside, if they really go out, none of them will survive. I think he is manipulated by the hole.
Heck yes! Really enjoyed the first episode a lot. I am so interested in how this will go on! Missed seeing Seo Inguk on screen. Park Boyoung is as cute as always. Both of them are doing an amazing job. Their chemistry is looking great already! Loving this vibe of mystery, admire the way Myeolmang is presented. The way he wants to break free from the "god", how he tries to be himself and not a servant of humans he despises. He clearly can't see why he is doing this job when nobody even appreciates it, Feel devastated for the FL and her troubles, it made me cry how she talked about herself, of which reasons she could've got the tumor. The last scene was especially beautiful. She was just saved from the truck of doom by the god of destruction himself x'D So the countdown has already started.
I think they were trying to reference the cult from Save Me and that’s why the cult leader was played by the…
Yes they did. screenwriter is same as "save me" and "strangers from hell. Ocn confirmed too that "Dark hole" takes place in same "world" as save me. City name is same too. I wonder if they'll have more connections :3
So the dark smoke coming from the sinkhole causes people to turn into monsters with black eyes and super strength?…
Smoke enters through nose, people inhale those insectlike dust, then this "dust" talks to them, makes them remember their traumas, or whatever they are afraid of (+ gives them some superhuman strength) then infected see another alive ones as whatever(whoever) they are afraid of. People turn into monsters because they give in to whatever the "dust" tells them to do. If not memory of her husband and him telling her to snap out of it, FL would be one of those monsters as well.
Not the "water of life" again. EW ("water of life" was what cult members from "Save me" used to drink and apply on their bruises in order to get "healed". that water was what cult leader would wash up with, and then give it to people as if it was holy water)
Just completed watching "Chicago Typewriter". I have been crying nonstop on the last episodes. It was such a wonderful…
I believe for the next life, when Yool has finally regained his energy while he was sealed in Sejoo's story, they will be reborn and meet each other again. Hwiyoung and Yool will become friends again, they'll befriend Soohyun too, HY and SY will still fall for each other, as for Yool he'll find another girl as he wanted, (might be that shaman's daughter who knows haha) and so on. They'll keep meeting one another, until there won't be no world to return to.
Just completed watching "Chicago Typewriter". I have been crying nonstop on the last episodes. It was such a wonderful yet painful story. Story of an everlasting friendship & love, the connection Seo Hwiyoung, Shin Yool & Ryu Soohyun had. The bond that even death couldn't break apart. Especially loved to see how Jinoh broke through Han Sejoo's walls, how he changed his life, also Seol's life with him. Hwiyoung and Yool truly were destined friends. The more I watched more my heart wretched for the main three, who lived such tough life in the past, how they did all they could do for the sake of their country. The choices they made were understandable, the ending was just right as well. The acting was really awesome! The plot was really great too, even though it seemed dragged at some moments, the last few episodes were especially splendid! I loved it! 9.5\10 P.s oh, and Osts were soo lovely too.
Dogi telling Jineon "hit me just once" means that he has to play some more embarrassing role xDDD So far I really love this drama. It's satisfying to see how those bastards have to pay for their own sins. I hope Kang Hana won't get Dogi and whole bluebird company. Wonder how they'll settle. p.s OST in the fighting scenes and at the end of ep 8 was really cool
So once again we are in Muji. I see Sangmi's father still hasn't come to his mind, leading cult himself. xD (since screenwriter is the same as "Save me" & "Strangers from hell" we might get more connections like this) I liked the second episode. Hope it will get even better with the upcoming eps. Kind of reminded me of "The mist", and it definitely has vibes of "Sweet Home" too, like what if they have to fight the smoke just like sweet home characters had to fight with the inner monster?!
If he can't end the world at least he'll end his existence that way.
