"The audience can easily be impressed by 32 fouettes, but they don't get moved easily." - Chaerok has been the one who inspired haraboji the most, who made him realize to not give up despite anything from the day he accidentally saw his dance till now.
"My name is Shin Deokchul. I have Alzheimer's"Even though I knew this was coming, it didn't help me to feel any…
Exactly, I felt so sad for both of them. Harabuji and Chaerok too. Deokchul is going to slowly drift away, disappear with all the dreams and kindness he had, and chaerok gonna be there once again feeling like life is taking everything from him...
I am just broken. Episode seven broke me. I can't explain how emotional I feel.
"My name is Shin Deokchul. I have Alzheimer's" Even though I knew this was coming, it didn't help me to feel any less hurt. I broke as well, just like Chaerok when he realized he'll slowly lose the grandfather he finally got close to, felt warmth from, the person who took him as his own grandchild.
Each episode of "Navillera" makes me think about life, think of limitations, what could it be, and what can never be. I love how amazing this drama is. Characters feel so real, so relatable, it's like you are right there alongside them seeing how their troubles are similar as your own, in different forms but with the same meanings.
"To be honest I'm still skeptical. But because your movements are weak and slow doesn't mean it's not ballet. Of course, you have your limits but just like Chaerok did you could dance in your own way"- Ki Seungjoo. Can't describe how grateful I am for this character, the way he slowly supports everyone and encourages both CR and DC to not give up and be patient with their dreams and goals. It was admirable how CR pushed grandpa to dance and show everyone what he has learned. Looking at him with such warmth in his eyes, I bet he felt really proud of him.
I am glad Chaerok decided to wait and take part in the next competition, letting his wound heal completely. The way he and haraboji sat down and talked about their experiences, struggles, and doubts was so endearing.
I felt really emotional (as during each episode tbh) watching this episode, teared up when I saw how that lady still danced in a wheelchair, never giving up on what she truly loves, then Deokchul danced, he rushed out, taking pictures with him, one for a family portrait and another for his memorial I guess... Then Chaerok found out about haraboji's diagnose and that very moment crushed me...
"It's such a beautiful day. So sunny and clear. So why... Why on earth... mom, dad, what do I do now?"-I felt how afraid and confused he felt, afraid of losing everything while all the dear memories of the past flashed in front of his eyes. Haraboji is scared, scared of disappearing.
"Navillera" will have a bittersweet ending for sure.
"The one who committed the crime should be one who pays for it Joowon"
This masterpiece has come to an end. It had been a great journey going along with all the intriguing scenes and emotional breakdowns I loved every minute of "Beyond Evil". I loved all the suspense and thrill I felt. It's really hard for me to put all the emotions I feel into words. Every character had significant meaning to the drama. When we found out who was the serial killer we wondered how they'd continue the story, what else there was left. But the story never got boring nor too predictable. That very moment was the beginning of something huge, something crueler than Kang Jinmook being the killer. The characters were very well written, the plot wasn't dragged, every question was answered in the end, every dot got connected. I loved how Han Joowon slowly started to trust Dongsik, how his distant nature started to change. He was the key point of unfolding the truth. Lee Dongsik the man I couldn't make my mind about at first, a "suspect" that was truly a victim. The amount of suffering he faced makes me wonder how he stayed sane. I was waiting for the last episode with so many expectations and it didn't disappoint. I loved every moment of it. How Han Gihwan got arrested or how Dongsik fulfilled his promise he made to Joowon. That scene carried so much sadness, confused JW who wasn't even thinking about arresting DS. The tears he shed and their friendship that got stronger made me tear up. The last scene was something that made me cry even harder than I was crying before. We see Dongsik smiling genuinely to Joowon, and him returning that smile with so much warmth in his eyes. Their first meeting and last one on screen are so different. JW was all about catching Dongsik at all costs, he seemed strong and cold, then his beliefs started to change one by one and in the end, this crazy duo captured what was hiding "Beyond Evil" which is upgraded evil. As I said multiple times this drama is a masterpiece that deserved way more attention than it got. there is nothing bad about it. All the actors did an amazing job. Must point out Yeo Jin-goo and Shin Hakyun these two left me overwhelmed with their acting. Also Choi Daehoon and Choi Sungeun I didn't even know she was a rookie actress. The nice wrap-up to an amazing drama! I will really miss waiting for new episodes each week desperately.
P.s thank you to you as well, all the people who left comments here and interacted with me as well. It was nice to discuss episodes with you!
"I'll lay a trap for him. I'll be the bait. I'll become a monster grab Han Gihwan in my arms and then drop down into a pit of fire from the highest place. That's how I'll make my apology. That is the best way of avenging that man. I will be tormented" -HJW I can't find the words to describe how terrible I feel for Han Joowon, his "father" talking about him as if he isn't related to him at all, the way that man is so cruel. The moment I saw JW trembling in the rain I knew what in his head was. THat he'd become the sacrifice in case to achieve the justice, he thinks he has to make it all right alone that he is responsible for his father's doings. He also feels guilty for being so harsh towards DS. I'm sure he didn't do anything to Jong Cheolmun. The thing is as if Dongsik would let him drop into the pit of fire. "The one who committed the crime should be the one who pays for it, Joowon" I know he won't let JW do things alone, I admire Dongsik so much, his life truly was hell yet he remained as human. They'll fight together. The preview of ep 16 seems so intense. This drama doesn't let us breathe and I love it. Today is the last the of this brilliance and I am not sure I can't let this go.
It definitely seems like I'm alone, but I'd actually like a ChaeRok and EunHo romance- I like how they speak with…
You are not alone. CR and EH would make nice couple. They are able to understand each other. About dementia- They gave us too many hints for it not to be true :( Last eps will make us bawl our eyes out.
The last scene of episode14 was so intense it gave me goosebumps. Joowon walking in the rain after finding out the truth, his eyes reflected all the emotions he felt at that moment. The cast of this show is just amazing! Especially YJG & SHK. I can't wait for the finale but I'm also really sad that this week is the last for this masterpiece. I feel like I'll cry a lot.
Another heartfelt episode that made me feel all the emotions once again.I really love this drama so much. It hits…
Have to highlight Chaerok's friend. Despite knowing that he'd lose against Hobeom he still went against him. He's such a good friend. For sure what I feared about haraboji is becoming true. The way none of their kids picked up the phone, then grandma called CR and he ran to find him immediately ;-;I get more worried about Deokchul & about Chaerok as well. I hope he won't act reckless, his career is just starting. He has to take care of his health before it gets too late. P.s Every time I see Kang cry, I automatically cry as well. his small sobs made me tear up.
Another heartfelt episode that made me feel all the emotions once again. I really love this drama so much. It hits all the right spots and gets you feel everything characters feel.
"What makes you happy?" - I am still lost about this. Is there any profession I like? is there anything I can…
Something is wrong with harabuji... He keeps forgetting things. Damn what if he forgets what his dreams were, if he forgets who chaerok is, it gonna hurt a lot. Seeing chaerok being so motivated after being told to trust himself, doing turn as he wanted to, being accepted in competition and now as I feared Hobeom decided to break his wings and he damaged CR's leg. I hate this selfish j#rk. He is out there blaming someone innocent for his incomplete life and trying to ruin their life. I hope my boy Chaerok will be fine ㅠㅠ Loved how Eunhee stood up for herself and decided to find her own dreams first. Deokchul bringing CR at his home was such sweet scene. They made him feel at home after such long time. That bright smile Chaerok had when he got accepted in competition was so pure, so beautiful and now everything might get ruined. This will be struggle but I am sure he'll overcome it.
"What makes you happy?" - I am still lost about this. Is there any profession I like? is there anything I can be professional about? Am I talented for anything? I don't know.
I'm really loving the drama so far! I know that some people don't really want romance and I understand but I just…
Completely agree with you! i don't mind if they mix a little bit of romance too, because main point still gonna be chaerok and deokchul achieving dreams and developing. I also want the teacher couple to get remarried xD they are cute. And indeed this drama is characterdriven. slice of life where every viewpoint of reality is shown & felt by characters. I can't wait to see more of this ˃ᴗ˂
we'll definitely need more tissues today and next two weeks
