23 Minutes into ep 4 and I just need to say: Wow! The self-importance of that eldest son is crazy! Whiny, annoying,…
The thing is he isn't really worried about his father but about what other people will say about him, how his reputation will be, it's all about him and not about his own father's dreams and health. he is selfish jrk
I don't want to see any romance, there is just no place for it in this show, their bromance is a greatest gift…
I think there might be hints of romance not directly romantic relationship between CR and EH since there is no such tag, plus drama focuses on Chaerok and Deokchul's friendship. tho i don't mind if CR r EH fall in love with each other.
I knew it. I was right. I just knew it...I will only come to love this more and more, I feed off of characters,…
Same here, more I watch more I fall in love with it. I love how they show so many aspects of life through characters, how all of them struggle for somethings, what life did to them and how one's life can be changed with little motivation in their lives. I also love how these two completely different persons are connected to each other, how they change one another's way of seeing life, encourage each other, become family to each other. Healing regrets and scars of one another bit by bit. This drama is really so beautiful T.T
"What could it be? Something is missing, why do I feel this way? right, my morning call!" - that's when I got it that haraboji was really going to give up on his dreams because of his family.
"When a man announces that he's going to do ballet his family's response is similar to that of the five stages of grief" - This made me laugh at first but then why can't this be accepted without such trials, I don't know. I was really upset when Deokchol decided to stop dancing. But I believed his wife would support him since she understands him and considers his feelings more than his son or daughter. When the eldest son was disrespecting him that much I wished his mother would witness it and hit him and she did so. He absolutely deserved it. The way he thinks his father shall live as he wants just so he won't be "embarrassed" is so angering! I enjoyed it when Chaerok splashed water on him "by accident" too. I am glad Deokchul is back to ballet! He is so happy while going to that studio, his presence makes everyone feel enlightened too. The way he looks at Chaerok, admires him, supports him, stays beside him like a real family.
Totally loved the conversation between Chaerok and Hobeom. I am happy he decided to not waste his time anymore and let someone bully him when he has no fault with another person's misfortune. He is slowly healing, getting out from that terrible depression that was eating him alive, making him motionless.
CR trying to drive a car was so funny xD also, Haraboji is totally shipping him with Eunho xD
I kinda knew Eunho would fail the interview she was totally devastated.
I am totally in love with this drama. It's so painfully beautiful.
"To be honest, I am not afraid of her opposing me, what scares me is that, someday I might not be able to do what…
"I also want to perform at the Palais Garnier like you did, Also about haraboji, you might not be interested in him learning ballet, but I am. Just so you know"- As I expected, Chaerok and Deokchul will become each other's strength,, they will overcome hardships together and pave the way towards their dreams. I loved how haraboji took care of Chaerok, how he worries about him and knows he is sick with just hearing his voice when his father wouldn't even call him. It was so touching when DC left small yellow notes on food, just like CR's mother used to do.
The fact that Chaerok is so broken but not many notice it, breaks my heart too, also halmoni cutting ballet clothes of Deokchul hurt too. These scenes really made me tear up for real. "Navillera" keeps making me cry.
"Did Chaerok hit you? he didn't do anything wrong, so why are you doing this to him?" the eternal question I got towards those who make kids pay for faults of their parents. Loved how he stood up for him.
Divorced teacher couple's fake fighting just to make their student go to competition and student awkwardly trying to stop them but eventually walking out silently was funny as hell. Loved the scene.
The oldest son will be the one who is most against Deokchul's dreams. I feel like they'll neglect him just like everyone neglected Chaerok. And in the end, these two will become more dependable for each other than their own families are.
P.s Can't stop admiring how marvelous Song Kang is, really.
"To be honest, I am not afraid of her opposing me, what scares me is that, someday I might not be able to do what I want or don't even remember what I want to do anymore" - what's scarier than that, is that lot of people don't even know what their dreams are.
What if JW was in his father's car while he hit YY? maybe he was asleep but just to be safe, that is why HGH sent…
I've been waiting for his backstory for ages too. I guess many viewers don't like Joowon because he is a gray character with cons and pros. I really like him too. I loved to see how Joowon grew throughout the drama and was one of the main causes of revealing the truth. I believe, catching the rest of them will be on him too. including his own father. And yes, I am a huge fan of Song Kang! Really love him. He's an amazing person & a brilliant actor! p.s I was about to add you, appears we are already friends haha

What if JW was in his father's car while he hit YY? maybe he was asleep but just to be safe, that is why HGH sent him abroad and rarely saw him in case JW knows something?
"Joo Won is an elite detective whose father is the star candidate for the National Police Agency’s next chief. Despite his admirable qualities and high social standing, Joo Won harbors a long-held secret." quick question:
"Trusting is a matter of your feelings. It can always be shattered when the truth kicks in"I hope, the small trust…
"-Are you worried about me inspector Han? - Do you think I'm crazy? I am leaving. - You can drop me off on your way. - I don't want to!" These two slowly becoming more friendly to each other, relying on one another more. I wonder what will happen when DS gets to find out the truth.
I knew that Joowon's father had to do something with this too. Jungjae was kind of a victim as well. Though if only his mother didn't hide the truth it wouldn't get this bad. Poor Yuyeon, first she got her fingers cut off by a serial killer, then got hit by a car, ended up thrown in the middle of the way, got run over by a car again. And all these people framed her own twin brother and made him go through hell. Like all the sufferings DS had to endure, the pain he lived with all this time. These people don't deserve anything good in life. I hope all of them will pay for their crimes. I wonder why DS let JJ go. What could be their agreement?!
I want HJW to kneel down to LDK, for all the problems he created, knowingly and unknowingly. I hope his guilt…
If anyone has to kneel down and beg for forgiveness in front of DS must be Han Kihwan, Congresswoman, JS construction chairman, Jungjae, all the people who got involved in killing Yuyeon, and then framed her own twin brother for it, not Joowon. If not Joowon and his nosy personality, they might've never found out half of the truth they know now. His father's sins aren't Joowon's to pay for.
Can we just take a minute to appreciate how well this show represents depression? I mean in all honesty, I feel…
absolutely agree! I noticed that too. As a person who is also suffering from depression I saw it right through Chaerok too, and his daily struggles. Repetitive daily life, that he is often late at work(which they see as being lazy but it's just not being motivated) Being in a slump, slowly losing the face of who you were, and what passions you had. Schoolboy chaerok was so passionate, he felt every move he danced, he wasn't even good with them but was so enthusiastic. Now he is great with dance but he has lost the passion, the emotions he has to put in the dance. I feel like society and people around him played a huge role in that. Hopefully from now on his days will change too, slowly, bit by bit, but still. I think the medication he takes is for his damaged knee he has from his football days. He had to suffer from trauma.

We got only 2 weeks left till the finale.
And then we'll have to say goodbye to this masterpiece
