i don't think there was hatred towards them, but Hongye totally went erratic and through the wrong way, because of love. He knew it too but he couldn't help it at all. Hongye was totally destroyed because of affection and love, and this was his greatest fear about Fugui. The difference is the kind of affection that was lost. I can't blame them but Fugui is more than the extreme, even though i can understand him. In a certain way i am proud of their son lol
