I agree about this, because I think the same concerning the actors, the same for koreans. in 2016 korea had rookies and stole from china, in 2026 thailand has rookies and stole from myanmar. same wave.
They probably worked a bit better than korean ones in being a bit less modern, but it is still too modern for an historical drama.
They worked on the language, but we have to see the final results. I can assure I won't be lenient like I do with korean remake. I am pretty sure it will be the same level of flop or even more

Agree on this, but we had expectations, from Thailand. Love Destiny 2018 was accurate and very similar to Scarlet Heart. Mae Yua, Empress of Ayutthaya, did the same ( it was criticised for being a bit over the top). The last duel had the actors visiting real historical setting, museums etc to get themselves aware about the culture.
And you know, F4 Thailand was a good adaptation, eve though in this case it was a modern one

you forgot something, my dear. Out there, there are tons of novel fans like me. We are entitled to correct people, because I doubt lots of people here are ready to watch this remake with the novel in fron of them, analysing dialogues and scenes and comparing to the original and the other failure remake, which this one will follow quite for sure.
Not everyone is illiterate to avoid reading books, my dear.
I check even the movie page and the two original seasons lol, while now I am re-reading again the novel. and I am ready a rewatch and reading again on november 4th.
You forgot we are waiting since 2016 for a series, you forgot we only ask for a high quality remake giving honor to the receiving culture and nation, and the original too.

squid game copied liar game which is so successful that he had an anime adaptation more than 10years after the ending of the manga lol. Kidnap Game echoes it too in the whole situation. no one can surpass Japan and this is proving it. squid game was created copying Japan, not viceversa.

it IS, since FL travels back in time in her own country and her own historical period of the country. They should have done like One31 "Mae Yua", or "Empress of Ayutthaya"

Korea did the same with China in 2016, and exactly like this situation even Korean people recognised it. I stand against cultural appropriation and I am enraged since I was eagerly waiting for it since I adore the novel and original cdrama. I will watch it in any case but I wished for something better
