IU is carrying the whole show alone since 1 ep and the other character are not at her level. She is the only reason I am watching this show and sorry if i cringed to the way she barked like a dog when her request was rejected, she seemed not even human lol is it humor for idiots with mental issues?
IU is the queen of sadness, not comedy. She deserves everything and she is carrying the show to success. I am criticising the style of the drama not the actors.

quite like this, but not completely. it has still the cringe comedy in korean dramas.
As a person disliking the humor and the comedy in every possible way, i found a bit of humor and it was cringe for me. Yes the trope is cdrama style but at least it's not bad. And i 100% agree with you about christians lacking perception of what Korean history is.
The problem is when they come from USA partners like in this case though. I hope they can cut the comedy completely, i am watching only for IU

I am watching it because of IU, because I like her. I am not a fangirl and like other people I was disappointed. It is not bad but many people were expecting more than this. It was so hyped that even the trailers disappojnted. Not everyone like what you like so stop defending when IU is carrying the show alone at the moment.

Review Perfect Crown
I find it cringe because of the loose comedy which is unnecessary. The monarchy is trying to balance a Joseon style with a modern one which is quite ok, they will explain it later probably since they claimed to follow a supposed divergence from Red Sleeve. And I agree they should develop a whole new world possibly without too much backing from USA and Korea division.
Let's see, but I hope they will stick to more serious plans

Then explain to my why in the episode she has to bark like an idiot. She is woman, not a dog. Explain to me why the humor is so idiot and cringe for ridiculous people. Sorry but IU deserves better, she is queen of sadness and tears not this cringe comedy that makes her bark like a dog. The plot is ok but she needs to be more serious and gear the role, and after all it's 1 ep only.
I am picky, extremely picky, particularly when i appreciate an actor or actress. IU is carrying the whole show alone, and sorry for this. This is why she deserves more than this useless comedy. They should ki***l her secretary and that idiot minister + her brother...

what a "fan" not even knowing the comments in Korea in 2016. Doctor, the patient is ready to plastic surgery to modify their genes to some animals. I suppose they still think moon lovers actors are not modified with plastic surgery, what a delulu. Come get them

Most korean fans are obsessive nut cases when they discovered this drama very late showing shameless behaviour without any critic about the cast with a bully and a ra***ist. They don't even know that in Korea it flopped since the very beginning, they adjusted the episodes accordingly ( you can red the FAQ in this page). On Wiki page they showed the rating and you need to compare to other kdramas in that periodd, it's not diffucult. They don't even know they final cut scene was showed in 2024 with only a 58% of success worldwide. If it's a wide success why didn't they overcome even a 100% success?
Maybe go get your brain checked if you still like a series casting criminals. At least Chinese original has no criminal records. Where were you in 2016? too late to the party, newbie

The website of the screenwriter confirmed 2026 as airing year. Win confirmed in an interview they are quite finished filming with only few Qs remaining but they are filming 2 or 3 Qs each time because of the tight schedule of the cast. He didn't confirm the Q2 like he did before.

cry where? lots of people did not cry
imagine not looking at how poor and shallow it gained regarding money that they had to cut their own actors because they were ill and perverted. Maybe the problem is the fandom, not the drama, denying it is to trash and a failure while still defending a cast airing a perv and a bully.

I comment it because this trashy shallow remake ruined the original Chinese one with too comedy and too unserious characters. People have serious problems in life and brain if they think an eclypse is magical and princes were so shallow, bi****hy and unserious like in the drama. lol. this is one of the reason it failed and will always be a failure. Watch the drama again making your brain work analysing each scene and you will see.

it's comedy, how can you survive in history without having studied it? lol. FL was mandatory ordered to know Gwangjong if she was intelligent and adult. If you defend her, it's he reason why wars always happen. History is mandatory in order to avoid the mistakes of the past, but I suppose you don't even know history.

Listen. Have you ever realised she is A KOREAN 25YO ADULT WOMAN ending in HER OWN NATION'S PAST, right? So she should have gone to school before starting working, right? So have you ever realised it's pure peak comedy that FL looks for Gwangjong when she met him at the end of episode 1 in the scene on the horse, right? If you really laugh at this without even understanding plot and character dynamics, it's YOU that have problems, not others. A drama is made to be UNDERSTOOD, and I suppose you understood 0 about the FL.
