The original Chinese one is an heartbreaking tearjerker that luckily has an hopeful ending compared to the novel and even a second season, it's more adult and mature that the korean remake. I suggest both for a comparison, but if you like mature and realistic portrayal and love stories you will love the original. Yes, it will be a fun ride... towards tears but worth of it. The original one makes a ball of tears everytime i rewatch it, the remake makes me laugh... not to be disrespectful, but as a woman, watching a love story like a comic is cute but nothing mature... it's the approach that changes and I hope Thai remake will follow a matur approach

This is another remake of my favorite historical drama ever ( hoping it will be better than the failure korean remake). I'm glad about actors' work and GMMTV clarifying they will be based on Chinese original novel and Chinese original drama, That's why I am following day by day their updates. We are almost there. As a novel fan, you can't imagine how teary eyes our fandow was when they announced it on April 24th, 2024 ( yes, I remember the date because it was a big surprise for us).

i laughed so hard for the whole korean remake. FL and ML are too stupid, Princes are idiots and too modern in acting... i couldn't take the story seriously while ML is clearly more in love with his mother rather than FL lol. And Korea cut the most important thing for the whole plot: the plot moves because FL know everything, she is able to live because she knows the future.
