Praising it too much. Obviously the last 2eps were poorly written with characters acting out of character and zero closure for anyone. It's one of the worst endings to a kdrama in many years. At least one of the most lackluster.
more than a month already after the finale, and in my opinion , this drama is already a kdrama classic.
It would easily have been one of the best korean dramas of all time, like in top 3 for me personally at least, if it wasn't for the ending. Up until ep 13, and maybe 14 as well, it was like 10/10 stuff - masterpiece material... Frustrating...

Yeah it has been mentioned in here many times already that the second half, or especially the last 2 eps were not very well written/executed. Literally no closure for any of the characters, except maybe Hee Do who just is thinking about Yi Jin all days long... if you can call that "closure".
I also don't think they needed to break up if they really were that deep in love. Someone wrote "its not like civil war was pulling them apart". I think they could have kept their relationship if they really tried... but nope. The writer wanted them to seperate no matter what.

Its truly interesting how different people can be. I am personally extremely sensitive to/hate filler scenes, but this drama didn't have even one slow moment. Just perfect pacing.
