more than a month already after the finale, and in my opinion , this drama is already a kdrama classic.
It would easily have been one of the best korean dramas of all time, like in top 3 for me personally at least, if it wasn't for the ending. Up until ep 13, and maybe 14 as well, it was like 10/10 stuff - masterpiece material... Frustrating...
I Was another one who wasn't wild about the ending, I was most interested in Yi Jin, I found his back story the…
Yeah it has been mentioned in here many times already that the second half, or especially the last 2 eps were not very well written/executed. Literally no closure for any of the characters, except maybe Hee Do who just is thinking about Yi Jin all days long... if you can call that "closure".
I also don't think they needed to break up if they really were that deep in love. Someone wrote "its not like civil war was pulling them apart". I think they could have kept their relationship if they really tried... but nope. The writer wanted them to seperate no matter what.
It started so strong and intriguing then dragged out to the endit took too long to deliver it's message and too…
Its truly interesting how different people can be. I am personally extremely sensitive to/hate filler scenes, but this drama didn't have even one slow moment. Just perfect pacing.
Currently rewatching! Such a beautiful high quality drama with a wonderful message! Just the fact that they decided to spend millions to make a niche series like this in 2022, almost blows my mind. Damn, the koreans are humanity's savior when it comes to entertainment. They keep proving it time after time! The world needs more love and this drama IS love. 9/10 from me.
Wow, this was much better than I thought it would be. My recommendation is to turn off the lights and binge/dive into the world of magic.
Okay there might be a few unanswared questions in the end, but it doesn't even matter this time tbh. It was so beautiful and well made overall. I even cried a few times... it was magical! Well done!

I had the impressions that netizens hated her because of all her scandals.
