I said this before: I really would have wanted to see SMY being "weak" at least once where he loses a battle or two because he truly met a worthy opponent or under a different, non corny circumstance. Someone earlier in here says that the 18 sword array was overused & gave SMY a plot armor which I kind of agreed with....
In Ep 33. We finally saw that he lost out. He wasn't poisoned. He wasn't tricked. No. They wrote it as he lost because he did everything he could (trying to save BHH, Second Master, Hu-Ye Clinic & everyone in it) to save the ppl he cared for, staying true to SMY character w/o painting him to be a dummy or only through trickery that he lost to his enemies.
They didn't make it predictable. They didn't make it corny. The reason for SMY losing over and over again in Ep 33 was because although he was injured couldn't stop fighting (he used almost all his strengths) or the ppl around him would get hurt. The reason he lost was, well, because he was SMY.
I really do like the pacing so far too. Very nice. I'm such a happy camper. I got my wish list! Honestly now if they can just tie everything up neatly to blow the ending out of the water, this show will be a knockout in 2025.
When SMY & BHH were talking about devination after all the epic battles and BHH just woke up, what is she talking about? That's when the personal demonic power to come their fullest power? And it takes life years away? Eyes turn red, white hair etc?
But dang...can I say just say SMY was π₯ in Ep 31
Yep. That'll work. That's his identifier from now on. Til this day, 31 episodes in I still don't know his name but that's okay I know his nickname now. All's good. If anyone use his character name I won't know it. If you're reading this please use this nickname peeps.

You know what's funny? You call him "blade man" and I keep calling the "white creepy ghost-looking guy" in Ep 2 when I refer to it because I can't remember any of these villains names π«ππ
