Ep 16, when he just so happens to visit her hometown and meets her grandma for the first time, and she keeps mishearing everything he says. Jun’s facial expressions had me laughing out loud, like he was silently deciding, “Yeah… I’m just gonna stop talking.” 😂😅
I’ve made it to episode 6, and it’s honestly been a pleasant surprise. There hasn’t been much buzz around it, so I went in expecting something more formulaic—like a series of straightforward, family-oriented cases with a very rigid, black-and-white judge. And while he does have that principled side, it doesn’t come across in a preachy or “savior” way at all.
The show strikes a really nice balance; it’s serious, but also lively and genuinely fun! I was worried it might feel dull, but that hasn’t been the case.
And Gong Jun has been great here. He’s expressive without going over the top, which makes his performance feel natural and engaging. He's appropriately expressive, no?
I’m also really enjoying the leads together; their chemistry is already so good. Surprised. I don't know the actress. I’m especially excited to see how their relationship develops once the romance really starts to build!!!
So I started watching the older version to get a feel for it, and episode 1 is already intriguing. Gong Jun’s character comes across as a little mischievous, but you can tell he’s intelligent and witty, definitely someone who thinks outside the box. He also gives off that “don’t tell me what to do” vibe. 😂 I’m curious to see if Gong Jun’s version will match that energy.
Can someone tell me what Gong Jun’s character is like? Doesn't seem to be like Su Mu Yu in Blood River, not like Prince Han Ye in LoA. I’m already excited, sounds like he won’t be the brooding type.
I am on Ep 15 after the "😏" scene. I am royally confused. So are they working together and playing along to make the two big drug bosses think they're working together and that he is going switch to the bad side for her?
