I miss the drama so much. Su Muyu/Su Changhe, my guys 😭😭
I am rewatching it and is on episode 11. I missed a lot the first TWO times having watched it. This show requires at least a second watch because at the beginning (& especially if you watch it as each episode comes out daily) of all buzz surrounding it I think most focus on the eye-popping fights and amazing CGI. The 10 sec skip button may have been a little too tempting. But the dialogue and the storyline is really god. And without a good story all the fights no matter how mesmerizing they are would be meh. But BR story is actually really good.
I like this question even though it's been asked plenty of times. For a first-time viewer, I can see why it is…
If that's the case I'll prep you for what I thought was a "lull moment " it happens between ep 19-23 during the SMY avenging No Sword City and seeking revenge for his father arc. And then after that arc we're into the next arc and it's boom boom pow again. You will probably have a better time because all the episodes are out so you can breeze right through the episodes but having watched them one by one I struggled a bit lol.
Blood River is *not* a romance-first drama, and it never pretends to be. That said, by around Episode 8 you’ll start to feel the faint stirrings of two potential “romantic” pairings; no spoilers, but you’ll know exactly who I mean when you get there. Even though romance isn’t the focus, the vibes are present, and by Episode 16 you’ll likely find yourself rooting for each pairing in your own way.
From Episode 16 onward, the show makes it pretty clear what kind of romantic pacing it’s sticking with—steady, subtle, and never the main course. **BUT!!** Somewhere along the way, you’ll realize that the relationship you’re truly cheering for isn’t a boy-girl pairing at all…but the brotherhood. ☺️
Hope you make it through the whole 38 episodes!
How are you getting through school?!!
