Imo, it's not really a lakorn type. Usually in lakorn, the older generation played important roles, like grandparents, parents, with screwed up families or fights over family fortunes. In this drama the young characters are the dominant, with almost no family members involved.

It's all a story told by the story teller in the last episode. In the story, the last part is their fourth life together. Since dated way back before their third life, she's not engaged to anyone and she is also very young thus need a tutor. Her tutor is Mo Qin. As a tutor, he is a scholar not a royal. Her wish marrying someone who lives simple life comes true, cos she hates palace politics since the beginning anyways.

But again, if he only watches the last episode is like spoiling the entire drama, lol.
