Sorry it's been a while since I watched this, so I'll answer you as much I can remember. ML and SFL are childhood friends and it's kinda common thought that they'll marry. She likes him but he only regards her as a childhood friend. ML and FL are married for political purpose. SFL becomes vengeful but there is a redemption for her later.

The thing that is sad is actually not ML and SFL, but FL and SML, but it's a big spoiler so I can't tell you.

At this time she's hired to be his manager.

I think it should also include Mystery or Supernatural genre, cos there are mysterious stuff happening in that village. Beware: some creepy stuff!

Well, the main plot is a political scheme secret, and small strange stuff in every case that later to be revealed with medical and psychological logic. If you're a mystery genre fan, imo it's not actually mysterious like supernatural stuff.

Feeling so odd... hearing characters speaking English with American accent very well in an Asian drama ;D

Ep 3: The opening told by the store owner. Now I wish if there is such a memory store like that just to go there and here stories! The second story is hilarious but also touching! Looking forward for Ep 4 for the rest of Piang's story.

No, you're not alone. I'm surprised too, although I guess their relationship since the beginning. Because there is ZERO chemistry between Chen Yu and Yang Ling. I have a hunch they just make Chen Yu has a girlfriend to avoid any possibility BL fan C-netz shipping Chen Yu and Wu Zhen Feng, since they have strong chemistry just by glaring at each other, lol!

So I watched Ep 1, no sub. Ice IS the Male Lead. He's the city boy who comes back with his mom to the village where she's from. He's not snob, tho. More likely not used to the rural ways of life. Also a logical type since there are mysterious things happening in the village. Krating is the SML. He is the village big bully, hahaha. He's funny, tho. Oom is the FL, a strong badass girl. Namfah is the SFL, she's an airhead, lol. So now what we saw in the trailer is clarified ;D
