If you like a mystery/investigation, realistic (non-fantasy), with no romance, yes I think this is a good pick.

Sorry for the late reply, I had a vacation. Have you watched The Bad Kids? (also Lights on Series) I thought that is good, too. I also only saw him in Ever Night. Just curious: why you don't like him in EN? But the whole cast, including supporting characters, is really good imo ;D

So I just finished watching it. Since I read the novel (really rare occasion I read original source), I see there were more added into the drama. I feel like the part after she wakes up was added a lot for the government ppl purpose, since there's not much in the novel. Some extras not in the novel are actually quite good tho

Hahaha... your review is super entertaining! Probably you should write an article explaining the drama vs webtoon differences. I am just about to binge-watch this drama after its completion. As usual, for a high-rated drama, I read the reviews that rated it low and vice versa. That's how I came across this review.

I was wondering why it has a very high rating, although from the synopsis I read, the drama sounds like other romcoms I watched. I think, you explained why.

I know right... but I guess people expect either cute romcom or period fantasy if it's a Cdrama, but this one is different. I dropped Legend of Awakening. Not necessarily because of him, but I think LoA's production was lazy, didn't really try hard to make a good drama.

Yeah, probably to save herself, because she was in hell and according to the drama everyone who kill themselves go to hell. So I guess she killed herself. Unlikely Joon Woong, cos Goo Ryun guaranteed him benefit to get a job to any company or pass any important exam after waking up from coma for 6 months.

But the Jade Emperor said that the person Goo Ryun needs to save is someone who will try to kill him/herself tho. So I wonder who the person is, since the other main leads are basically dead already and Joon Woong is in coma.

Is it slow? I don't know but I couldn't wait till the next episode. The suspense is real, I keep clicking the next episode (luckily I binge watched ;D).

If I'm not mistaken, I think there was one or more popular Cdramas aired at the same time that got attention because of the cast. I liked this very much so I wrote a recap about it. I hope it gets more attention after this ;D
