have you finished it? what do you think?
So I took a peek of your completed list, lol... seems you have watched a lot of good political dramas. From your PTW, I recommend "The Imperial Coroner". WandereR and I also wrote a recap article about it (no main plot spoiler). I heard the Korean Designated Survivor is also very good but I haven't watched it.
I wrote a CW article on Legally Romance, but since you like to binge-watch, just wait till it finishes next week (8 April).
Not in your PTW list: Fall in Love, a Republican Era drama. There is one that is underrated: City of Streamer. It seems people were watching it as a romance (like Fall in Love), hence in the mid way turns to 'political' since FL executes her revenge plan. Read the reviews/comments first if you doubt it.

I really like Nam Joo Hyuk's recent acting in his dramas since 2018. I just hope in the future he get's better…
I love Jo Jong Suk too, he is one of Korean actors I watched a lot (in 6 shows). But it seems like the ones here have played in Kdramas that have been super popular on MDL, at least once in their acting careers.

If I may ask - what parts of i am not a robot wouldn't pass censorship?
I think it will be in the robot development, they have to tweak the original story to pass the censorship. Chinese sci-fi dramas sometimes are confusing with editing or ending. I watched the trailer that is like the summary of the story lol. It looks like the way he finds out that she's not a real robot is different than in INAR. Besides, the addition of the orange orchard is interesting because it's not in the K version. We'll see...

Thank you for this article. Well now I might just give it a watch. Tbh I was kinda interested cuz of Song Zuer…
So I watched till Ep 24. The 'time travel' is the same as in the novel. She is in an accident, falls into a coma (1 month I think), wakes up, and the school time she experiences is in a dream. How the facts are actually related in the dream is explained by the neurosurgeon later. Interestingly, there are facts that she doesn't know prior to the dream/coma but happen in the dream. It's the same like in the novel.

The translation (in English) is so very well done, you'll feel like the translator wrote the novel! It's not like…
OK... I watched till Ep 24... so this is my take why the characterization in the drama (D) is better than in the novel (N):
- D: Qian Wei and Chong Wen was a couple in the past, broke up in the present. N: They are never a couple. This is better in the drama, although it seems a love triangle but emphasize Lu Xun's quiet love and support to Qian Wei all along, even though she has had a boyfriend.
- D: Qian Wei's dad passed away. N: He is alive. Why better in drama, although it's heartbreaking, it shows more her parent's love to each other (an example for a long lasting love).
- D: Lu Xun's parents met Qian Wei in the her dream and are supportive to their relationship. N: They never met Qian Wei in her dream only later when she wakes up and has a relationship with Lu Xun
- D: Xi Zin is a kind and real friend. N: Xi Zin is the villain who tries to break her apart from Lu Xun.
- D: Qian Chuan and Shi Yun becomes best friends in the dream and later a couple. N: In the dream they're never best friends/couple. They just bicker.

Just a few days ago I started this drama i watched 2eps of the drama but didn't feel anything special but because…
Episode 1 and 2 (first half) set up the story, so we know that in recent time Qian Wei lives a miserable life, her work relationship with Lu Xun, her break up with Chong Wen, 10 year reunion, etc. So it's kind of somber mood. It's quite common for Chinese drama starts slow like this, it's also in the novel it starts with recent time. What I like is right in the beginning of her second life, we can see Lu Xun likes her quite early (remember the scene when they're got punished on the track and he piggy backs her instead of Mo Zi Xin?

Just a forewarn: the side characters' stories are slightly different. In the drama they're told better I think.

I'm by nature a binge-watcher, so I will wait till Ep 24 to watch 8 episodes in one go (last watched Ep 16). The novel is a HE, a beautiful ending it is ;D.

I also enjoying this drama honestly...If I would given a chance to go back from my 10 years ago ..Maybe I would…
I wouldn't go back into my school days, it was a hard schooling so don't wanna redo it!

Ahh, Cho Na! I had been waiting for this article's release ever since you told me it was in the works! Kudos,…
Since I have read the novel, I'm actually surprised that they modified some characters, mainly the supporting characters, and they're better than in the novel. Make it fun to watch the side stories also.

I don't remember the Sony Xperia phones, but I remember the FB statuses and websites. It seems not too long ago...

Since people talking about Lu Xun's hair, I actually went to look for Z. Tao's hairstyle, lol. It seems when his bang is down he looks younger. Dunno, but his hair pulled up supposed to make him look older (as a lawyer)?

I like her advises (as a 28 year old) she gives to her schoolmates, senior, parents, etc (the 19 year olds)...…
I know, right... I don't think the Korean production team and the Chinese team know each other about naming body parts with Western names in those dramas. Do you think that's a real trend in Asian countries? LOL...

The novel itself has quite a story after the wake up. I mean she doesn't wake up like in the last minute or so. There is a romance period in the current time between Qian Wei and Lu Xun.

Honestly, I loved Z.Tao in The Negotiator and The Brightest Star in the Sky and I'm so happy to see him back again…
The translation (in English) is so very well done, you'll feel like the translator wrote the novel! It's not like machine translation. Oh, I give you a warning, there will be a steamy part, which I doubt will be in the drama. It'll be a pleasant surprise if there is:
https://www.sunkentranslations.com/dont-fall-in-love-with-the-boss/

News about it comes way back in 2011. Here is the latest article I can find for you:
https://www.cnn.com/2016/08/31/asia/china-banned-on-tv-censorship/index.html
According to Youtubers on Chinese entertainment like Marcus Sim etc, production companies have ways to pass censorship. Like in this case, my thought also why it could pass censorship fast because of the message of legal awareness to (Chinese) public and the legal mission for (Chinese) lawyers to do upright, that outweighed the 'time travel' theme itself.

I'm kind of tired with the 'male god' thing, lol, that's why I like this drama make the ML more down-to-earth. I watched other dramas that make MLs like celebrities in school, where girls like staring or screaming at them etc. It's just unrealistic...
