LOL... I didn't realize I talked to you before in DMs... hahaha... Yeah, I think his upcoming drama Ace Troops may be released soon cos they just got distribution license. Although I don't like military/war, I will probably check it out just for him... talking about a hardcore fan, LOL. I heard also The Longest Promise may be released before TOOL, because TLP is only on Tencent and TOOL is held back by HunanTV. Chinese TV stations, HunanTV is one of them, are usually more tight than webdrama networks.

I know right in my mind Cmovie Catman cos Janice Wu is in it (she's one of my faves) with a Korean actor I don't remember who. I think there is another Cmovie but I don't remember who are in it. I follow Marcus Sim YT streaming he talked about C government loosened up the hallyu ban or other bans a little bit here and there across the years, so hopefully we'll see some Cdramas we wanted to see, but got shelved, in the near future ;D

You're talking about "bad guys appearing right place right time"... I rather bored with the cliche "the savior (usually the ML) appearing right place right time"... LOL.
I'm actually curious with his upcoming role in the Abyss, especially with his change of appearance, he's so anorexic there IMHO. I may want to check it out though I'm not really a fan of psychology and crime genres.

Yes, the info on that one came out after the article was submitted for editing and the pics are only from the booting ceremony ;D. I'm actually surprised he doesn't have many dramas out this year, considering I watched him in four 2020 dramas last year, lol! Yes he has 3 supporting roles and 1 as SML in upcoming dramas, and one more I won't watch. So yeah, I will definitely check out Xiao Cai Mi (I watched them in My Girl). Do you know any story about that drama, cos I don't see any info on MDL. I think they're both in the same agency, cos they've had 3 dramas together ;D

I didn't watch Count Your Lucky Stars cos I didn't like the ML. Is WZM a second ML there? I watched him first in Fall in Love. He is only a supporting role there but his acting is sooo good, more a dark/deep role, that I started keeping an eye on his dramas afterwards.

I'm actually kinda surprised Zhu Yi Long is not filming anything recently, unless it's not on MDL database yet. There is his one upcoming movie: Funeral Family.

Lin Yi... oh!!! After watching the Thai version of PYHOMS (where he had a cameo appearance), I really wanted to see Lin Yi again. The original PYHOMS is the first modern Cdrama I ever watched! I tried watching The Blessed Girl and Love Scenery but I don't like the stories. Honestly I don't think I want to watch his upcoming dramas I mentioned above since I'm not interested in the stories, but he has many other upcoming dramas I will check out but I didn't mention in the article cos there is no info yet: Daxi Make a Wish and Jump Into the Snow (both with Landy Li and I love her!), The Bone Aroma (with Esther Yu and I also love her, lol!), and The Only One (BL adaptation).

Luckily I didn't watch those 3 dramas. Though I want to check out Young Blood, cos I read it's good? But a lot of times hairstyle, or we can see hairpiece in historical dramas are bad lol. I saw SIL, I agree he looks great there ;D

So this will be his first time playing a main role in a historical/costume drama... yay!
