I'm really glad that you will give it a try. Taiwanese dramas are somewhat under the radar overwhelmed by Chinese dramas. Yeah this is not a fantasy drama with bad CGI and props. In fact it's rather realistic, cos the gods are on the earth wearing regular clothes etc. No sci-fi, though, I hope you don't mind ;D

Me neither, naturally I don't like harem setting, so that is the first I ask if watching historical drama cos it's quite common practice. I don't like reverse harem either, I think it's just a fan-service that lots of guys liking one girl. Now that I remember, the love triangle here is not a real one. Besides what I wrote above, SML (Xiao Zhan's character) liking' FL for a reason, not like he's her long time friend with unrequited love or something stupid like typical love triangle setting. But I cannot spoil you why SML 'liking' FL you need to watch it. Also, WJY's character will have his own love interest ;D

Oh the reverse harem tag? I don't think it's a real reverse harem, more a love triangle probably. At first, WJC's character does like FL a little bit since they become good friends, but not too long/too much. The 'love triangle' is not with him, but between ML, FL, and SML (Xiao Zhan's character/ML's uncle). However, FL is dead set liking ML (the Emperor), cos he's her idol singer in the real world, thus she pursues him, lol.

Oh you should watch OME! It was one of my first Cdramas... way back when Chinese government was quite lenient with time travel/parallel world. The drama is hilarious! WJC's character is the ML's bro and FL's bestie. His character shines in Season 2 (you need to watch both seasons as S2 is a continuation of S1)
I will definitely check out Airbenders cos WJC is the main character there. Not sure what is his role in Camellia Romance?
